AudioLINK – providing real time data extraction from Aico/Ei Carbon Monoxide Alarms.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a silent killer. It’s a by-product of burning any fossil fuel, such as coal, oil, wood and gas. You can’t see it, smell it or taste it – remove the guesswork with AudioLINK.
The AudioLINK App enables you to extract real time data from a compatible Aico/Ei CO Alarm, generating an Alarm Status Report that provides information on:
- Peak CO level detected
- Alarm activations, levels of CO and when events occurred
- Background levels of CO
- Age/run-time of the CO alarm
- Test button activations
- CO sensor status
What you need:
- An AudioLINK enabled CO Alarm
- An Andriod Phone
- The AudioLINK App
The AudioLINK App gives full instructions on how to extract, interpret and save the data. The App will also store the most recent Alarm Status Report.
Technical information:
The AudioLINK App works with most Android smartphones supporting Android KitKat software Rev 4.4 onwards. To find the phone’s software and revision go to “Settings” then “About”. For optimal performance we recommend the following phones:
• Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5
• HTC-One
• Sony Experia
The mobile phone must be held a minimum of 50cm away from the Alarm when extracting the data.

Had a customer (elderly) report that co alarm sounded national grid went first tested and i attended after tested emissions in boiler and carried out room co. Absolutly perfect. Replaced old co with an Aico report comes in co sounded same address this time connected my phone to it and gave a full report and showed that only time alarm has sounded is when button was pressed. Saved about 1 hour. Aico is the way forward.

This is an excellent tool and, as a regular installer of alarms, it allows me to offer the customer / landlord an annual report when testing. The tool also allows me to test whether the tenant is regularly testing as per the guidelines

Note to others; disconnect any other interlinked alarms within the same room because any noise from them will interfere with the app
