Nice

Can someone explain to me why this application needs to know my location? This is over Bluetooth - I'm within 20 feet of the device I'm communicating with. Where I am physically is not Sena or their developer's business. I will not update while that requirement exists.

by K####:

Love my sena gear just wish it was easier to navigate the functions on the go. And maybe louder better sound clarity. All in all not a bad set up

Android OS development laziness bound BT scan to Location permission. I get that in theory a BT device scan 'could' expose users location. You know what does for certain..? granting Location permission. All Android needed to do was expose a random obfuscation table for Macs in the scan result. Unfortunately, it's Android's problem and you loose 2 stars for it. Is BT scan actually needed for this software or could it function using devices paired in OS settings? Uninstalled, thanks anyway.

Whether data will be received by this app, if we send data over Bluetooth SCO channel?

Can't Connect to my HC-05 when other apps do. Seems to be because I can't access the menu on my Galaxy S7

I loved it, I was easily able to set up my connection and change a bunch of other configuration options too, most of all terminal is full screen and easy to read. I use it everyday and would reccomend it to anyone.

Unlike better looking and simpler apps, this one always works. I wish it had a more user friendly UI, but so far it has never failed to connect to a functional device.

All around a great tool. Note: if you are having difficulty getting your BT serial adapter to pair with your phone, initiate pairing with the app.

Lots of configuration options and stuff, but the interface is quite unusual and confusing. Works well with my scantool OBDLink after changing the remote CRLF handling option.

D70%
by D####:

Excellent tool. Works very well, full-featured, no unnecessary permissions. The interface is a bit clunky, but no worse than every other serial terminal I've used. Thanks for making it available for free.

D70%
by D####:

Use it for embedded systems. Works great with both Sena and IOGear Bluetooth serial adapters.

D70%
by D####:

As others have said, it has a weird flashing issue with buffered background data. It was so annoying and disruptive during a debug operation I had to install it. It did connect easily to the target device, but the interface is not very intuitive.

J70%
by J####:

would be real rad if it had a way to actualy save the logged data IN A FILE... my android-jitsu is not up to find the lurking log files in the filesystem core. why not save it on the SD CARD, or give more option in terms of exporting the data, just like the apps you'd pay 20+ bucks for... just wishing on a star here, hope not to have to install the SDK and make it myself... ty VERY COMPLET OLD SCHOOL AT COMMAND TERMINAL, AWESOME !!!

It worked with my console adapter, but would flash horribly the entire screen with each keystroke entered. Works otherwise, but not worth the headache or strokes from flashing. I'm assuming this is due to the resolution on my Transformer Prime Infinity in 1080p+. Please fix and I will review normally. Also consider controlling multiple devices with tabbed consoles, as I have a number of these I use with configuring network hardware.

U70%
by U####:

Good app, love that there's no ads and doesn't need many permissions. it's the only "proper" Bluetooth terminal on Play store. has big issues with swype keyboard, also using vi over it messes up the display and it keeps jumping back to the bottom when I'm trying to scroll back up.

V70%

Im a developer and I used this app to test my new app which uses bluetooth spp to connect other BT devices. This app saved me a lot of time. Thank you very much.

Having a hard time entering numbers and symbols. The keyboard resets when the terminal receives characters. Other then that great terminal program.

X70%
by X####:

This is very configurable, which can be daunting, but has EVERY feature you could ever need. I especially liked the ability to send control keypresses - something strangly absent from the others I tried.

Used this to monitor data from a telematics device I'm developing for automotive applications. Much more convenient than a laptop on the move, but would benefit from logging to a file.
