U-Scan

The navigation of this app is not very intuitive but it has a lot of features and the in app purchases are linked to my google account so I can use my old phone with the scanner. Only issue is the compatibility of the in app purchases. I've bought every feature I can and my 2011 mitsubishi lancer is still not supported. It's 2017 and it's a very common car. There have been other incompatible cars that I've tried in the past as well. Anything made by VW or their other companies is not supported. It would be nice to add those. When it works, it works great. When it doesn't, it's very disappointing and the navigation is weird. You go into one screen and then when you push the button to go back, it brings you to a whole new screen instead of going to the previous one.

Works well on "supported" vehicles. I bought all the add-ons including abs and airbags for all vehicles. The problem is a lot of the vehicles I try reading abs or airbags on are not supported. Also are we going to get an update for vehicles newer than 2013? We are now into 2017 models

The packaging clearly lists Holden Commodore VZ V8, which is why I bought this particular scanner. Turns out Holden is not even in the list of vehicles when running the app. Also none of the "app enhancements" are compatible with my car. Should've just bought a $20 code reader from ebay, which would've also allowed me to use any other obd2 app from the google store instead of being stuck with this u-scan.

About a year ago during the last big update I lost ABS scanning on my 2004 Monte Carlo. Very upsetting when I remember buying the add-on and have a light on.. got a "this vehicle is not supported at this time" besides this, I love it. .

Got this, it's everything it advertised. People are complaining about what it can and can't do. It's a $90 scanner... if you want your scanner to feed you and do your chores... your in the wrong world buddy

Like many others have said, the interface is lousy. There are a lot of nice features, and it it will do a lot that a regular stand alone unit will do, but it's so hard to navigate. * One tip I will say, use the 'back' key or button on your phone to navigate within the tabs, like the diagnostics tab, which has many layers, and a good amount of tools (like your MIL reset command) but you have to hit back to find the top layer. If I hadn't spent some serious time trying to figure out the tabs I probably would have just tried to return the adapter. Main take away should be that this is a great tool (if your vehicle is supported) but the way you navigate and get info needs a complete overhaul.

So I was in the store looking at it and I noticed the in app purchases to get what I wanted to read which is ABS and other stuff that I don't think I would mind spending extra on so I downloaded this app to see if I can get prices and the app tells me my vehicle isn't supported to get the extra features. well that sucks I'm glad I didn't buy this product. But so far with the app does have to offer is alright according to other reviews and update messed a lot of the features up

It workes like it claims but the interface and syncing is a little clumsy. An online manual or quick referance would be nice. And its not compatable with Torque.

THIS SCANNER WORKS EXACTLY LIKE IT SHOULD, DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE COMPLAINERS, IF THEY ARE NOT INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO CALL SUPPORT AND ASK FOR ADVICE THEY ARE NOT INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO FIX THEIR VEHICAL!! YES THERE ARE IN APP PURCHASES, IT'S A ONE TIME CHARGE PER ADD ON.... LIFE TIME UPDATES.... WORKS AS STATED. ( IF YOUR SMART ENOUGH!!) BEEN USING FOR 3 YEARS PROBLEM FREE ON EVERYTHING CHEVY TO VOLKSWAGEN!! I GUESS SOME PEOPLE WANT IT COME WITH A TECH THAT WILL REPAIR THE VEHICAL ALSO.

Its a great, easy to use & easy to understand, basic diagnostic app/computer for the price! It works well with everything I have hooked it up to & supports auto id. You can read & reset (erase) codes, get code info, run tests, & get real time data from the vehicle. I would recommend it for machanics & or personal use.

After an update I lost the ability to check out my airbag lights and see if it's the same issue or something else. Please fix this issue.

Yeah not a bad tool for what I paid, handy to have just to find out whats going on. HOWEVER, bought from supercheap auto in Australia and checked the comparability list and it said my veichle was compatible, plug it in and says my VIN is invalid.

Do it your self style diagnostic testing on any make and model straight from adapter to your phone, Bluetooth style... Nice tool to own for all you do it yourselfers out there

Nothing on my vehicle is supported... Its 5 years old. That should not be a thing.

Called tech support on several occasions they cant fix it. I have been in the automotive electronics industry for over 30 years now ,and I can't fix it. Halfway Works on my old Samsung Galaxy s3 but not at all on my Samsung Galaxy s5 nor on my Samsung Galaxy s7. Many Months later their promised Update is finally here . Thanks for the tease. It almost works,but still DOESN'T!!! The u-scan Tech guy said it probably only works with the first phone it sees. So you can't update or change phones.

Garbage for Australia. Does not support Australian Landcruiser at all.

Wish subaru was in the live data selection it is in the top eight fastest growing car brands and would be a good investment in gaining compatibility with. Thanks, (2003 subaru Forester 2.5x)

$150 worth of garbage.. Wont work on most vehicles.

Just wish it be updated for newer specific models, since it only goes to 13 or newer.

the concept is good, the apps layout is difficult to learn. tried 3 different brands of cars from 3 different years and all were unknown even though the box supports them. Thought there would be graphs and details but all I'm able to do is run a quick scan and buy purchases that don't support my car. I regret this purchase especially for the price it was, I have an old cable obd2 device with a small pixel display that does the same as this for $100 cheaper

Expensive tool and app add-ons still won't read correctly on 2006 Honda CR-V or 1999 Ford F-350 7.3 diesel even when Actron claims they are supported vehicles. When I leave it plugged into the Ford, it actually caused the vehicle's engine to stall while I'm driving it! Needless to say this is dangerous. DON'T BUY IT!!!

The sender connected to my phone easily enough but after 2 hours of trying wouldn't identify my car. I selected the car make and model manually but that didn't help with the app stating I should plug the sender into the car (which it already was). There is no online tech documents to refer to and very little instruction included. A waste of my time and money.

Abs codes purchased now asking for another purchase. Why so many add ons to an expensive tool. I can understand new add ons for new advancements, but basic use? Just buy a code reader with abs capability. I used to have a 5 star until this issue though. I heard about it; and you'll be happy too after sucking up all the purchases, now u think your good but you wont be. Just remember if you want to avoid this on Android keep your email linked to google play or you will lose features you paid for.

It was great when it worked. Now it will connect but won't let me do anything because it is trying to "identify" my car. Even though I have identified it manually so many times, I suppose it didn't enjoy that idea anymore. Worthless to me now.

I bought this with intentions to use with both check engine light and SRS (airbag) light. First you tell me I have to purchase more stuff to get SRS codes then when I do that. You tell me my vehicle isn't supported by your product for SRS stuff! Okay then why the hell did you let me purchase the add on so freely? This app and product is a rip off. Nothing more than a glorified cel reader/eraser! Deserves 0 stars.

Despite the device claiming to support my vehicle the interface doesn't natively have the required options. Automatically detect my vehicle also fails and im also unable to identify my car via the VIN. This is a 2007 Alfa 159 - which is listed on the box as a supported vehicle. Given the price of this device id have been better off purchasing a generic version and saving a significant amount of time and money.

REALLY could have done better here if only to spend a few more hours on the UI. We did pay you after all but oh well u business name is the one that suffers

Worst waste of money I have spent in years! Even though I purchased the extras it still doesn't erase the codes or do any of the things that it says it should. Don't waste your money too

I had purchased this product and all the module add ons abs, drive train transmission, and airbag. After an update to the app all those sensors were unavailable to my vehicle. Another update, Uninstalling the app, installing the app again and everything is working perfectly again.

Can be a pain to connect to a vehicle at times. Owned this for about a year, used on 4 different vehicles and still can't figure out how to view live data with it.
