SiMi Folder Pro (Donate)

Used to be a great app launching widget but now it doesn't recognize apps updated after it was installed, which makes it increasingly useless

You could drag and drop apps etc. into the folder the way you can with a normal folder on my Galaxy S4.I use this widget so I can have subfolders which I can't with the standard folders.The icon could show a preview of some of the items it contains like the standard folder does.If not a wider range of different included folder icons would be nice.Change "Vertical" text to "Square" window as it is not clear.More options than the IPhone background.Look at Widget Container app would like this functionality.

Best folder widget easy to mod/use to your desire. But, wish you could rename shortcuts, apps, etc. But not a big deal. Nexus S 4g 2.3.7

I don't like the look of a crowded screen, I now have 4 folders on one of my screens that house all my frequently used apps. Simi clock is an equally useful tool that can launch applications as well, so between these two apps, my screens are much more organized and pleasing to the eye. I realize this is a donation version, Pro is a bit misleading as I don't notice any additional functionality. Either way, support the developer if you can.

Love all the features this provides, especially the ability to backup/restore folders, A+ Check out the SiMi clock widget too, looks great.

This has replaced Folder Organiser permanently for me. Great app!

Between SiMi Folder Pro and Smart Taskbar Pro, I don't even need a home screen or launcher!

Does not display correctly in landscape orientation and also shows old apps that have been long since uninstalled in the applications area.

I love this app but some of the apps I removed months ago still show up in the applications list and it hasn't been updated in a while

Its too good not to support the dev. This is a very streamlined app. So many options. It really lets you take control of your device and create stellar themes. It is so close to 5 stars. I imagine I will change it soon when the ability to adjust size and position of the folder launcher window. Bravo my friend... bravo.

This is suck an awesome app the only thing that really annoys the heck out of me is that it will not detect installed icon packs, so I cannot change the default folder icon to match my theme. so for now, till that's fixed I will only give 3 stars.

This app is perfect for cleaning up and even removing visible traces of icons from the home screen. However it is an absolute beast to configure compared to stock folders. I use a galaxy s4 so I want to actually see the HQ background images. I've removed all but a few simi folders from the screen and hidden the rest (maybe the best feature of the app). The icons are still functionally there (if you know where to press) but not visible. Coupled with the Nova launcher, I can even place a folder *over* another widget to simulate the effects of clicking on the original widget (ie get a folder of clock-related apps when pressing a clock widget) However, the largest drawback (and worthy of a 1 star penalty) is setting up the user interface. It takes forever for my customized solution because every folder is it's own 1x1 widget and every folder must be painstakingly built from a cumbersome input format, including nested folders. Probably unable to simplify given how it is built though. And I've just read that updates remove settings. Not good when it takes an hour minimum to rebuild the configuration with using custom icons. After you get good at it that is. Drag and drop needed!

Honestly..... I just had an epiphany. SiMi Folder is my most used app! Sure your OS will let you make folder widgets to put on your main screen with your apps. But Simi allows endless creative customization on top of that! SiMi Folder allows you to customize how those folder widgets look. Instead of a regular 'folder icon' on your main screen, SiMi allows you to use any personal pic or icon (download em online). GreatApp! All my apps go thru Simi. Well worth the price or donation! Good job developer!

Would be good if you could drag drop apps to folders, and also to have folder organizer style notificaiton asking which folder you would like your new apps installed to and also a way to see which apps have not been put into SIMI folders, and a way to very quickly assign each app to any folder/s - so you can get your apps all organised in folders effectively. At the moment there is no reason for this, other than that SIMI folders app is WAY less developed than Folder Organizer... so comeon SIMI!!!

App stops when I choose a photo from my gallery. I have left my email when reporting the issue with no response. If I just wanted larger icons there are other apps for this. This worked on my previous phone (G3) and worked on this phone (HTC One) and then it stopped working. If I didn't like the app when it worked I wouldn't be so upset now that it doesn't, my research indicates that the makers of this app struggle with continuity between updates, but I'm no sure if that's the issue. Fix it!!!!

Nice one Dev you did it AGAIN!! Why can't you get an update out that keeps settings????? Great work but very annoying to have to reset sorting orders & layouts every time....

I can't load all my asps on my HTC ONE M7 4.4.3 android. Please fix. It was working before.... 5 stars if fixed.

Can't believe I've only just noticed that I was still using the free version- DOZENS of times every day! A no-brainer to donate now.

For drag & drop... Or at least a search option when adding items. Also, it'd be nice to have a widget that's always open for scrolling, rather than what amounts to a shortcut. And shortcuts should open the folder near the location of the link... Or failing that, the open location should be customizable... Or at the *very least* open in the center of the screen. Of course, you could just add some serious integration with folder organizer and/or tasker,

This looks awesome,love you creator of Simi Folder. just one thing though, is there any way to adjust the height(rows)? cause i can onlu see 3 rows now and having to scroll a small opened folder on a big screen seem a bit redundant?

Great app! Won't run on my 7.7 galaxy tab 2. Also wont run on my 10.1 Galaxy Tab. Will only run on my samsung nexis and original galaxy tablet. PLEASE make compatible with my other devices!

...and I still haven't found better. Just finished my annual search for a better organazational folder app. Had to add that finsl star.

For me, this is the best folder app out there. Very easy to use, allows specific ordering of apps, looks great, and navigates easily.

Can feel a bit slow to open sometimes though

i've used this app through 3 phones now. This and Simi Clock are amongst the first apps i load on a new phone - both are must haves

Love this widget. Excellent customization options. As of 8-29, bufixes have turned this app from great to awesome.
