Yale Home View App

Very good App. Very responsive, much more so than their App for viewing their traditional CCTV. Would be good if you could change the name of the Camera to be displayed on screen (currently you can change the name of the Camera, but it still shows the default name on the footage). It would be great if you could link the IP Camera to the main Yale CCTV App instead of needing two separate ones.

Alerts keep coming through but can view camera. Keeps saying it's not connected but obviously is because of alerts Says go to about/app setting/connect. There is no app settings/ connect Shute app

Love it! So easy to use. Just open the app and click on the arrow and there you go - full remote security/ surveillance system - amazing!

Bought 4 indoor cameras .. when away from home only one camera will log on for me to view inside of my house . Would NOT recommend these cameras ..much better ones on the market

Miles off from being a class leader. Expected more from Yale. Better products out there.

Would not install in numerous routers and phones. Total waste of money. No support to fix the problem. Will advise all not to purchase this product. It is shameful!!

Camera connected instantly, the image is crystal clear and although it works remotely it does have a bit of a delay but that's totally acceptable. Well done

This is a good app, but it eats the battery on my Android phone really quickly, even when the app isn't running. The only way I've found round this is to force a stop and then restart the app only when I need it. Not ideal for security monitoring! I have the IOS version on my iPad and that doesn't have this problem. Please fix it...

OMG, just brought this Yale System with PTZ Camera....... Is this for real a modern day company that sells a product with the support from a substandard App Company but still sells the product and guess what your products don't work. Perhaps change your App Designers whom obviously have failed Yale. If I'd of just read before I brought then would of saved all the problems. Ptz camera won't even connect firstly, then hey want a laugh.... Try scanning the bar codes lol don't work..... Please please please do not purchase any Yale products if this is anything to go by. Hey let's see I've emailed them.... Not a prayer. Hope this saves you time and money, knew I should of brought the Swann System, perhaps might have too and place this in the bin..... That's to good for it. Lol

Uninstalled the app couple months ago due to ridiculous battery drain. Reinstalled today and still the same issue.

Spent nearly 2 days trying to get it to work, will only work so far when plugged into router, waiting for the helpless to contact me.

No longer works with Dropbox. The app needs updating to comply with the new requirements set by Dropbox but Yale doesn't seem to bother. The cameras on their own without Dropbox or other cloud integration are useless.

Easy to install, faster when connected through the same WiFi. Bought for remote viewing of the dogs we will see how it goes and update in due course.

Push messages only work some of the time and therefore doesn't upload to Dropbox everytime; defeating the purpose of the thing.

It's a good app, but is draining battery even though it's not running. Very odd.

Good quality and the app does everything i want it to do right from my phone amazing i would fully reccomend

set up was easy, worked well until we went out and now the app doesn't pick up anything. Just got a screen with my camera but does nothing when pressed. Tried android and iphone, called the helpline, after waiting ages to get an answer got told a technician will contact me, still waiting. Very bad service.

This is absolute garbage!!! Yale you should be ashamed of yourselves. Mine worked on my old iPhone until the app was updated then wouldn't work. Gave Yale the benefit of doubt & blamed my phone. However have upgraded phone to Samsung & still nothing. Not fit for purpose!!!!

App has removed my camera and says update failed. No updates to install. Therefore can't check my camera away from home not, very clever.

Just ok, picture good but camera connection a bit flaky - can be fixed by using the wps reset button. Little in way of documentation. Received message from Dropbox saying the online sync is legacy and will stop on 28th June... Hoping something is being done to replace this functionality as it was my reason for purchase!

Terrible. Same problem as other people, won't connect to wifi, won't connect on Ethernet cable. No instructions to be found anywhere for installation via Ethernet, and apparently no trouble-shooting guide available for download. Will take camera back for refund.

Will not connect to wifi. Even contacted helpdesk followed thier instructions but still did not work. Also app drains battery

I was a Cammy customer but as charges doubled i switched to Yale, few issues like default is WiFi only but soon worked out the controls and settings. Adding cameras had to try twice but worked in the end

What a load of rubbish, tried everything you told me to try,still will not connect to Wi-Fi. Wasted enough time now, make sure it works before you try selling it to the public

Don't know what all these bad reviews are about? Took me minutes to set up. The only downside so far, night vision not great with the camera looking through window, but that's to be expected.

Won't connect to wifi. Just sits at 10 % and wont move. Tried wired connection, won't pick it up. So basically a £90 lump of plastic

Terrible, wont even connect to wifi. tried Android and Apple to no avail. Product not fit for purpose. Going back tomorrow Asap

I have tried canary and swann cameras and returned them , I bought 2 yale cameras and after a month of using them I love them , great HD quality cameras.

Can't add a new cameras to my app. Useless. Never buy yale CCTV, on my own risk

Absolute rubbish .. fails to connect to wifi ... fails to connect to phone ... fails and times out. Taking camera back for full refund tomorrow

Have tested several wireless cameras but this one does everything on the tin and 100 times better. Have just purchased a second camera. Yale should think about a similar design for outdoor use.

Drains battery like crazy on nougat. More than 2% per hour!!!!! Uninstalled
