About Icarus for Phantom 3S/4K
Control Phantom 3 Standard/4K 2.4 GHz transmission power and WiFi channel; provide feedback on the current transmission power level (dBm). Remote Controller and Aircraft can be safely customized; modification provides a stable output power level (from 17 to 30 dBm) and do not rely on periodic re-adjustment mechanisms (cron or similar tricks) that can ultimately damage your equipement.
Icarus for Phantom 3S provides a simple and effective tool to apply a stable range mod using your android smartphone/tablet. No need to deal with ftp, unix tools or any technical issue, just apply it and enjoy !
Phantom 3S Tx Power will be rock solid at the level you choose and moreover absolutely stable in time.
(for experts: avoid the stress on the 2.4 GHz module due to going back and forth periodically in "region set" and "tx limit", as others do !)

I think the app is very good. But I'm giving just 3 starts cuz it doesn't work when trying to change to channels 12 or 13. Another issue is that everything resets after turning the AC/RC off. Which is not what I was expecting from this app. I thought I'll do it once and done. Unless FW change of course.

Had some trouble connecting at first but developer advised me to set the SSID manually in the app if you have trouble connecting to wifi. All works as it should. Great app.

I tried to use the app and it kept giving me errors, and now I can't even get the controller to show up in my avaiable wifi on my android. The app litterly killed my controller. Do not buy this app!!!!!!!

Updated firmware to 1.9.20 and Icarus is working perfectly. Installed on Phantom 3 standard with firmware 1.8.10 and it more than trippled my range. In a CE mode area I was only getting 300 to 400 metres with my P3S. After this mod I am getting over 1200 metres.

The latest version is now working with FW 1.7.9 exactly as advertised. If you follow the instructions it does exactly what the developer says. I wish all app writers were as quick to fix things. Happy to pay for this.

This app really works and its so easy to use great job on this one. my p3s would only get out 768m max. after using this app it did better than 1500m. Its worth the money.

It works indoors but the moment my Phantom gets satellite lock it reverts back to 17db. Total waste of time and money.

This app has hanged at 20% twice anf after waiting 1hr or more nothing happens, with 2 of my remote control, after that remote control gets a solid red light, wont connect to aircraft and the phantom wifi disappears, wifi analyzer will not find it, its like the wifi card was wiped. I emailed the dev and still no reponse, i would not recommend this app, my first remote has a month at dji and still no process completed.
