DNS proxy
This is a DNS server tools. Anti-DNS pollution
Main features:
1 TCP mode to access the remote DNS server to ant DNS pollution.
2 DNS service for LAN.
3 You can view the DNS request log.
4 Can manually specify the domain name IP information.
>> Risk: This may cause the SSL authentication fails.
5 Domain name support * way, eg: *.google.com .
6 Change or repair the system DNS setting (net.dns).
7 DNS caching to reduce network delay. Only cache the IP query results (querytype A or AAAA).
What is dns system?
The domain name system (DNS) is the way that Internet domain names are located and translated into Internet Protocol addresses. A domain name is a meaningful and easy-to-remember "handle" for an Internet address.
Because maintaining a central list of domain name/IP address correspondences would be impractical, the lists of domain names and IP addresses are distributed throughout the Internet in a hierarchy of authority. There is probably a DNS server within close geographic proximity to your access provider that maps the domain names in your Internet requests or forwards them to other servers in the Internet.

This is a /etc/hosts file manage tool .

1 download a hosts file from network.
2 hand-type hosts records.
3 Manage hosts, you can add, delete, enable, disable hosts.

The role of this tool is very important to peoples in such countries that has rigid network limitations. It cannot works properly in Android 5.0, since the DNS server cannot be started. I will be very appreciated if you can fix this issue as soon as possible

This app, being for rooted phones, makes networked apps perform a lot better by caching DNS replies so the hosts don't have to be looked up every time something happens. Unfortunately, there is no help for the Facebook app. That's just poor coding on their part. I can see so much more that can be done with this app to make DNS queries not so laggy. I just sent an email to the author with some ideas. Anxiously awaiting a reply. In the mean time, get this app. You will thank the author for it later.

Just looking for a program that will load a custom hosts file and run its own DNS server. This lacks local VPN so it requires root. Useless for me.
