Dead Pixel Test

Two things you should do: 1. Add a soft key dead pixel tester for rooted devices 2. Add an interface that is toggle-able so you can test for a specific color.

It works really well. I don't know why some people cannot see it

I don't quite understand the purpose to this....it just says 'touch to next...' and it blinks a bunch of colors

Thought it might give me an idea of how to use it. Just flashes different colours up. Not sure what im suposed to look for.

The app doesn't work in 100% full screen. Thus the test does not work for dead pixels in the soft buttons area for the new nexus devices

Gave me a weird vision because you tap on the screen and it changes colors made me dizzy if I did it fast and kinda knocked me out and gave me a weird vision of "universe blocks" for Minecraft! (I dunno if it's a real thing though)

Found two stuck pixels, they only disappear when its blue, pink, black, and red, so I am guessing my yellow or green color is not working right, stupid HTC EVO 3D

I always download this app on a new phone as it is a very good way to not only detect dead pixels but also to judge the overall quality of a screen.

For users of new bought smartphones and tablets to their warranty assurance with the store or company itself. And for 2nd hand gadgets buyers, for them to check the gadget's firmness with its dead pixel test. So they dont be victims of fraud and fast money sellers.

I had a thin vertical line across my note 3's screen. Restarting my phone didn't fix it. I went to download this app to test for dead pixels but surprisingly it elminitated the line after flipping through different colors on this app!

Some phones have this built in just dial in *#0*# on yur phone dialer and yu have a whole LCD tester for gingerbread...I have a galaxy s2 2.3.5. ...

Some broken pixels only appear at specific levels of brightness.

With the blotches that the Moto Razr comes with I wanted to test my screen. Passed with flying colors lol

For those complaining that it doesn't cover the soft buttons; rotate your phone upside down so that the soft buttons switch to the other side of the screen.

Found a stuck pixel on my recon. EVO 4G. For others, check for a tiny contrasting square on your screen. That would be a stuck or burnt out pixel.

Good app, I have 1 dead pixel. Now it bugs me. -_-

What s the point only colours

I thought I had a dead pixel on my nezus 7 but it's just a bug in the launcher i'm using. Now i can relax. :-)

Great app I found 7 dead pixels on my HTC ONE!! Now HTC tells me this app simulates dead pixels.. HTC tries everything to get out of warrenty!!
