About Crescendo Volume
Crescendo Volume is an application used for gradually increasing the volume of you ringer for an incoming call. You can customize the time in which the ringer will increase and also the minimum and maximum values of the ring volume.
This application is very helpful when you are in your office, at home, in the morning, or in the night, etc..., and you don't want to be disturbed (you / your near colleagues) by the powerful sound of your ringer. When the incoming call starts ringing at a low volume it allows you to react relaxed. The gentle fade in of the ringtone can be customized to fit your exact needs. In the same time the risk to miss the incoming call it's quite low, because the volume will rise step by step to the maximum defined value in order to help you hear the ring even if the phone is deep inside your backpack.
Over all, Crescendo Volume has also the possibility to work only in a specified time interval, by changing details in Advanced Options.
The application is very "battery friendly" having a minimum energy consumption. Crescendo Volume starts when an incoming call is received and ends when the call is answered or dropped. It does not run continuously and it does not interrogate periodically the system to see the status of the phone.
Access to Phone Calls is needed for being triggered when an incoming called is received.
Access to network/internet is needed ONLY for Ads.

Works perfectly as I want. This was a standard feature of my old phones. Too bad it's not built-in in every phone. I hope the ads are not active or generating network traffic when the app is doing its job during a ring. Maybe there won't be ad-free version soon. Edit: a month later, I'm uninstalling this. Definitely if I pick up fast, it doesn't restore the volume, and Notification volume is linked with it and I miss notifications! I'm preparing most of the ringtones in PC's Audition with the required volume gradient directly in the OGG file.

Works as advertised. Little concerned it does not reset the volume after the call is picked up. But works well. Would also like the schedule more robust so we can set current volumes for different times of the day and week day. Also would love this product to evolve to a similar feature set as CyanogenMod Quiet Hours. To mute notifications and sound the phone in an escalation. Keep up the good work guys!

I was using Intelliring but I upgraded to a non-supported phone. I got no help from them so I went looking for a replacement. I found this and haven't looked back.

Another app that brings an old Blackberry function to Android. A gradually rising ringtone has always made the most sense to me. Works on Galaxy Nexus with stock JB 4.2. An ad free upgrade and stability update would be appreciated.

I had tried other ring increasers but I really like the feature that this one kicks in only when there is an incoming call, which means virtually no use of system resources. Note they only work on rings, not alarms.

Does what it says. Good if you don't want other to hear your phone ringing. It gives you time to react (answer/reject) before others hear that your phone rings. I suggest changing the crescendo time to more than 10 sec
