Garbage. Makes me wonder if the creators of this app ever saw a game pad. Just a bunch of squares, the slider and return the center option doesn't work. The client software installs a driver on your pc, which you need to restart your pc to fully install the client. Its terrible, my computer runs like a server, do you realize how much work it is for me to restart my PC? try making a gamepad that actually resembles a game pad, with circular buttons, make it so you can change the layout and size of the buttons. circular analog sticks or directional pad, you know, like actually game pads? what kind of "update" removes features? i see people complaining about the lack of usb support, which it use to have. More like a "down" date then an update. uninstalled after 5 minutes. dont waste your time. there are far better ones on the market.

Developer has no idea what a video game is, no less a video game controller. Didn't even try to connect to a computer. No idea what's going on here. Good entertainment value though.

Works well on Samsung Galaxy Gio. Too bad the usb connection was removed. Also will be better if there is lanscape mode because landscape mode is easier to hold when using joystick mode.

well - i expected from this to emulate keystrokes...many games wont see this as a windows pad (insane 2) so its usability is severely limited...as of now also buttons layout is not so fortunate as it should emulate standard pad layout and thus buttons should be easy accessible with two fingers i like if for easy installation and automatic connection - app is neat and clean but it needs some work to make it universally usable - emulationg keystrokes is a must... if u decide to add such an feature - this is how user could set them up : long press on a pad button shows prompt to press keystroke wanted to be emulated -- voila! 10 seconds and ure done after that - 10 stars!!

Great for first beta. But can't get custom layout to show in list of layouts. Location: /Android/data/uk.digitalsquid.droidpad2/joystick.xml

This is the only app I've tried that actually works, and it works brilliantly. I could only ask for the option to disable the accelerometer, and an in-app layout editor :)

Does exactly what you'd expect it to do: emulates a game pad. I use it for extra buttons to use with flight sims, but I imagine it'd make a decent primary game pad too. The new version is very easy to install and use, which is a big plus. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the custom layouts to work though, which is disappointing. (they don't appear in the layout list) The editor could be better, and it would be especially nice if you could edit layouts using the app itself.
