Connected fine. The screen flashes the real time data, which is annoying because you cant read the data. It will download the log but the graphing isn't optimal. Wish it could store the data real-time as it was polled.

Frankly this app should be removed by Google as it's not even fit for purpose. Fails to connect 9 times or of 10 & on the 1 time it does connect it crashes every time you try to use the graph feature. I have yet to display 1 single graph. Do yourself a favour and save your money. Utter, utter, utter rubbish.

Looks good, and when it works.... Otherwise it crashes all the time... Title says it, when it doesn't crash the data is displays is awesome. I have it connected to my K4500,and it will fail to connect about half the time sitting about 3' apart with the Kestrel BT settings on high power. When downloading log files to display graphs about half the time it will crash, the other half it works, and once in a while it will take show it is downloading, and then do nothing. One other minor annoyance is the giant ye

Cool app and useful to be able to access Kestrel data from a mobile device for when the device is outdoors or using the vane kit but often the app failed to connect with my Kestrel 4500 or would lose the connection and preferences for polling and shake refresh and would crash regularly. It's not a distance issue - all tests were done with my Galaxy Nexus and Kestrel within 1 metre of each other. I also tested my Kestrel using BT connection with my PC and it was 100% reliable, plus I've had no problem using BT on my Android with other devices so it's definitely a problem with the WeatherBird app. I hope the develop fixes these 4.1 compatibility issues because this is a potentially useful app that I would use regularly.

If the annoying bird sound when you open the app isn't enough of a turn-off, the fact it has an interface that looks like it was deaigned by a 12 year old will be. Throw in a non-intuitive interface, an inability to use the program to view historical (previously downloaded) data without having to pair-up the Kestrel, and this app was the worst $9.99 I have spent in my life. To do ANYTHING with this app, it has to be connected to your Kestrel. I want to review data when the Kestrel isn't around.

Great app. Slight glitch. I noticed that logged time is 2 hrs behind the displayed time on the kestrel. Otherwise it works great.

This app works great with my Kestrel 4000 series weather station. Its mounted ten feet above the ground in a ruggeged area where a laptop would be difficult to use. So having this capability with my Droid is Great. I am able to communicate with the device fast and reliably.

Easy to use, good graphics and works flawlessly with my kestrel. 5 stars!

Works perfectly with my k4000 I just mount the unit outside and watch the data on my phone inside.
