عثمان بن عفان ذو النورين

أبو عبدالله عثمان بن عفان الأموي القرشي ثالث الخلفاء الراشدين وواحد من السباقين إلى الإسلام وقد أسلم في عامه الرابع الثلاثين وأحد العشرة المبشرين بالجنة, ويكنى أبو عبدالله وأبو عمرو وذو الهجرتين ذو النورين لأنه تزوج إثنتين من بنات الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم, حيث تزوج رقية ومن بعد وفاتها تزوج أم كلثوم.
هاجر عثمان بن عفان إلى الحبشة وكان أول المهاجرين إليها من ثم هاجر من بعده سائر المهاجرين لكي يكونوا مادة الإسلام هناك, حيث قال لهم رسول الله أن هناك ملكاً لا يظلم عنده أحد وهو النجاشي.
كان عثمان بن عفان ذو النورين رضي الله عنه من أشد المقربين إلى رسول الله وتولاه الرسول بالحب والثقة بسبب ما يبذله من مال في سبيل الإسلام والمسلمين وكان ينفق الأمول بكرم لا حدود له على المسلمين ويساعدهم بصفة عمله كتاجر وكان من أكثر الناس حياءاً, حتى ان الملائكة كانت تخجل منه, وقد بشره الرسول محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام بالجنة وأنه سيموت شهيداً.
تولى عثمان بن عفان الخلافة بعد مقتل الفاروق عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه سنة 23 للهجرة, على يد أبو لؤلؤة المجوسي, وقد دام في الخلافة 12 عاماً, قام خلالها بجمع القرآن الكريم بسبب خوفه من أن الناس تخلط بين الحديث النبوي الشريف والقرآن المنزل من عند الله, وقام أيضا بتوسعة للبيت الحرام المسجد النبوي.
كانت خلافة عثمان بن عفان ذو النورين ملئة بالفتوحات الإسلامية التي جابت الأرض شرقها وغربها, وتوسعت خلال فترة خلافته دولة الإسلام, وقام المسلمون في ظل خلافة عثمان بن عفان بتفتح قبرس وأرمينيا وأفريقية (تونس اليوم) وكرمان وسجستان وخرسان, وحقق إنتصارات إستراتيجية وقام المسلمون في عهد خلافة عثمان بن عفان بإنشاء أول أسطول بحري ليمكنوا من خلاله حماية الشواطئ الإسلامية من هجمات الغزاة البيزنطيين.
بعد ست أعوام من خلافة عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه, حدثت العديد من الفتن الداخلية بين المسلمين والتي إنتهت بمقتله على وهو في بيته يقوم بتلاوة القرآن الكريم وكذلك قام القتلة المجرمين بالتنكيل بجسده, وذلك في يوم الجمعة 18 ذو الحجة سنة 35 للهجرة, وله من العمر اثنتان وثمانون عاماً قضاها معظمها في ظل الإسلام مدافعاً عنه يفديه بماله ونفسه, وقد دفن في البقيع بجانب أصحابه.
تختلف طوائف المسلمين بالنسبة بوجهة النظر إلى عثمان بن عفان, حيث يعده أهل السنة والجماعة أنه من العشرة المبشرين بالجنة, وأنه من المبجلين في الإسلام, حيث أحبه رسول الله حباً شديداً وقد زوجه من إبنتيه.
أما الشيعة الإثني عشرية فيرون أن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه هو أحق من عثمان بن عفان بالخلافة والولاية وأنه قام بتولية أقاربه من بني أمية أمور المسلمين.
