Bay Tree House - B&B Dorchester welcomes you to their family run bed and breakfast within a few minutes’ walk of the historic town of Dorchester in Dorset.

We offer high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in relaxed and luxurious surroundings and have recently been awarded an AA 4 Star rating for standards of accommodation and service.

Bay Tree House is a late 19th Century house that has been stylishly and imaginatively refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and light and all rooms offer either en-suite shower, sink and toilet facilities or a private bathroom with shower, bath, sink and toilet facilities.

Bay Tree house has up to 7 rooms from single, twin, double and ensuite rooms. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, light and all rooms offer either en-suite shower, sink and toilet facilities or a private bathroom with shower, bath, sink and toilet facilities.

We offer single, double and twin bedded rooms; single occupancy of the double and twin is subject to availability.

Although the house is just a few minutes’ walk away from the centre of town we are ideally situated in a quiet residential area, away from the noise and bustle of the town. We offer our guests the advantage of free off road car parking. A five minute stroll along tree lined pavements and avenues will take you straight to the heart of Dorchester's shopping centre. A five minute stroll in the other direction will take you to Thomas Hardy's town house.

We are very proud of our local reputation for providing high quality food since we are also the owners of the Walnut Grove Licensed Restaurant and Coffee Shop in Durngate Street in Dorchester town centre. Therefore we are confident that our catering at Bay Tree House will more than match your expectations.

As an added bonus we are happy to offer our Bay Tree House guests a 15% discount on any purchases from the Walnut Grove menus whilst they are staying with us. The Walnut Grove has a full menu available each lunchtime and serves snacks and drinks throughout the day.
