Australia Topo Maps

I love this app. The ability to cache maps is awesome especially aerial imagery. (Does anyone know of a good way of backing up this cache?) My only issue is the re-drawing of tiles doesn't work that well at times especially when zooming in and out and for some reason with the paid app I'm getting ads when I cache maps (which is especially annoying since they cover the controls). Otherwise this is the best mapping app I have tried by far. So useful out in the bush. Thanks for a great app.

I want to be able to see a list of all the bearings and distances between all the waypoints in my trip. This is an obvious feature that should not be missing from a topographic maps app. Also I can't find the magnetic declination in the map legend.

I have another dedicated GPS unit and this app is far superior especially in ease of use and readability. It is a bit heavy on battery usage however. An all day hike really needs an add on power pack for the mobile.

Generally works well but never seems able to follow my live position when recording a track, even though the setting to track is on. If I don't keep an eye on things I lose my vehicle and have to zoom out or scroll around.

Works great. Would be nice if the caching works alot quicker or is less sensitive to internet changes. Also would be great if it was able to be part of the family library as im not always around when my parents head off on an adventure.

I liked the program and upgraded to full version. However, I wrote few emails but no reply. The maps are okay whe n in WiFi area but doesnt show map offline. I downloaded maps many times , it seems to download okay. But offline it shows blank no map. Tried in few locations. HEMA also has bad reviews. Any other suggestions. Or hint to sort my issue. Planning on camping next month.

Went pro straight up for the offline features. Just back from an overnight hike in the blue mountains. App worked great. Saved my track, topo in good detail low battery use when you drop your phone into flight mode.

Got a message up the top saying waiting for GPS so doesn't work would be great otherwise

I paid for the full version and now it reackons i didnt! Also i cached a map and after that kept freezing and didnt work properly anymore.

Excellent app for accessing topographic maps, it's so easy to use. Just cache your map and bring a powerbank and you're ready to go!

I actually like the app so I bought the Pro version. However, it has not installed on my device and yet I have paid for it. I would really like some assistance from google or the developer of this app please. If assistance is rendered then I will change my rating.

Great, but one missing feature is a field displaying distance/offset to course when following a route. Really need that for grid searches.

This is one of the best apps for mapping I have ever used. I use it for the RFS and it works really well. I would like to be able to send my current t location easily to some one. Currently you have to save it as a way point

Shows my location in a town about 40km away.

Great all functions work not a problem anywhere. Referred plenty of friends to this app and they have saved lots of $$$.

This application is utter crap! It will not function without Google spying and even if you want to pay them they decline the payment. What a crap setup!

This is the best mapping app I've ever used. Fast drawing, excellent features and a lots of very useful layers. Caching ability is great. Thanks for a brilliant product.

Great except the creators seem to think there are no states west of NSW

No topo maps for Victoria and the Australia wide map is extremely inaccurate as is the google map.

So far so good! Love that it gets the NSW LPI data
