It's going to be great especially the ones that don't know the unit very well that can utilize this application to it's furthest points! Thank you Game And Fish New Mexico for getting to the 21st century! Also would like to have a photo gallery for the game and fish taken during the duration of the year!!

Loaded map and app crashed. Has anyone from the developer, NMG&F and/or customer really have any luck with this app? Save 5 minutes and don't download. Still needs work.

1. License lookup is not a secure, local cache of your license; instead it's just a mobile wrapper that loads the NMDGF's horrible web application. So when you're in the field, this won't work without cell service. And you're still going to have to carry that big 8.5x11" license folded in your wallet. 2. The app needs access to local storage: can't come up with a good reason for that. 3. The app loads ads, albeit for itself, which means it's connecting to external resources. With access to your files. And that normally wouldn't be a big deal if you trusted the app developer to be thorough, but 4. They didn't bother changing the EULA from Rhode Island's, leaving the RI references riddled throughout. That level of laziness and reuse doesn't inspire confidence in an app that can see my files and track my location. Overall, it's clear this was a political rush: someone internal demanded "a mobile app" and they've purchased a terrible solution to try to speed things along. I was genuinely excited and hopeful that this might finally fix some of NMDGF's issues, but I guess I'll wait a while longer.
