Blueline Taxis

App does a fair job, not hugely dissimilar to uber but it would be useful to be able to look back at journeys so see how much they cost when paying in cash. My memory is terrible. Always found blueline pretty reliable.

This app is crap. It sent my taxi to the first place it picked me up a month ago even though I put in my address. It put the first pickup location in and sent my taxi there. So I booked it again from scratch and it sent it to the other location AGAIN. It better not try to charge me

Since last update you can not add card details, tried emailing blue line they just ignore you or put an out of office reply on

App works exactly as you would like. Only thing i dont use is the pay by card function as id rather be secure using cash just in case

Horrible app. Cant even register. Never sends you the code. Tried on multiple devices. Blue Line taxi is garbage anyways..

Thieves, liars and lawbreakers - all part of the Blueline service. I wouldn't book, especially if you accidentally leave your items in the back - good luck getting it back. Blueline Taxis have a habit of twisting the law in their favour. Having left my tablet in the back of a taxi I contacted them, they told me I would have to pay a fare of aroud £15 because the driver wasn't in the area, they also told me I wouldn't get my item back for at least FIVE DAYS because that's what the law says, which is lies (its within 24 hours they MUST hand it to the Police). The taxi driver didnt even report having my item to the company and he was rude and disrespectful to me. The management team themselves are unaware of the law even stating on the phone to me they will keep the item for around 2 days before worrying about it. This is in clear violation of their license. I would reccomend another company such as EAST COAST and stay well away from these. To add one of their reviews is fake, its from an employee and is one of the few "5 star ratings" this company will ever get.

Not as good as the Uber app and costs more when you pay with a card! Totally pointless

It charges £1 every time you select to pay by card and this is not mentioned anywhere. I won't be using it again

Cab driver (Audi A6) tonight CANCELLED the ride for which we had called 4 minutes before just because he preferred the"best better" ride (came 4 minutes delayed). The lame "excuse" was that he couldn't listen to me saying 40seconds previously that "I am RIGHT OUTSIDE " TO the phone call that mentioned that out taxi was there. Fun fact: the next "good ride" was ON THE SAME TRAIN WITH US AND arrived 6 minutes after we were kicked out of OUR can (at midnight in the rain -.-) OH MY GOD REALLY.

bool a taxi 4 hours in advance and they cant turn up on time, pointless.

If you enter a Hotel, pub or Hospital the app often asks for a "house number" before it will proceed !! Please fix this bug

App says 10min to pick up and gives time taxi will arrive. But apparently the taxi will arrive any time up to 15mins AFTER the pick up time. Joke

Quoted £24 return fare, ended up costing me double that, plus their timekeeping is so poor that we missed 25 mins of a 2 hour event that had been booked and paid for so prob £100 lost in total. Prebooked a 16 seat which they replaced with 4 taxis without warning, 4th taxi took 50 mins to arrive, leaving 12 kids unsupervised while I waited with last group. They don't allow reviews or comments on their FB page, Google them for reviews - I can only assume the odd good review has been posted by themselves!

This app is stable and works a charm. No issues running it. DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT A BUSINESS ON THIS FORUM! It is for app review ONLY... it's user friendly and a better update than the last one :P

Do not under any circumstances download their app and opt to pay by card!!!!! I "tried" it out tonight and somebody else took my taxi and charged it to my account. I'm told I will get a refund (after I was left standing outside in the cold and rain for half an hour and rang up to check where the hell the taxi was). I'll update the review when I get said refund. I then was made to pay again for my journey home!!! Lovely girl on the phone, couldn't be more sorry, but disgusting customer service overall.

Good taxi app you can track the taxi on its way to you you can pay by card. I would trust this more than Uber considering the negative press they have been getting in ripping passengers off.

Booked for 12.50am and wasn't even dispatched by 12.57am. Woman on the phone was unhelpful/rude and seemed to have the attitude of 'it will come when it comes'. Cancelled, used Uber and car came in minutes. Not good enough when Uber is the competition.

Charging £2 extra on top of a normal journey just to get more drivers in the road! Are you kidding! I'll use uber...

Nice app SHAME ABOUT SERVICE GOT CHARGED £4.50 FOR 0.6 MILE. USED THESE A WEEK BEFORE GOT CHARGED 6.60 FOR 2.9 MILE. SOMETHING NOT RIGHT HERE DO NOT USE RIP OFF

Incorrect claims. Blueline in not Newcastle Based Taxi firm. They're North Tyneside based taxi company. Google must remove their fasle claims.

It might be ok if you get the right driver but all in all I have been take. The wrong way more than the right way x

This app is just a rip off of the Uber app with less features.

I really enjoyed my Blueline taxi. They have insurance, licensed taxi drivers, clean cars, they know we're their going, and I got home safe............... not like uber unsafe,unlicensed,unregulated, and no insurance and not safe.

This app is just great, I love the way you can see what Taxis are nearby and the estimated time of your Taxi before you book it! It's a very slick looking app, very easy to use. After the initial setup and install I booked my Taxi within seconds and tracked it to my door, there was an option to call the driver instead of the office fantastic!!!!!! The Taxi arrived and to my surprise it was a gorgeous Blue 5 Series BMW with an equally gorgeous driver, he was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. If you're ever in the North East I would 100% download this app and use Blueline Taxis absolutely outstanding service and an equally outstanding app!!
