So far I have found that this program works really well. After the update we have had problems of searching for addresses, and when ever you start the program up it don't us the starting zoom that you have set on the map document. I hope that you get this fixed soon.

The ability to load and display huge amount of data was a superb. Will be much better if the developer add the tools to edit, save, and export modified layers. Also please enable synchronisation with dropbox..

So far I love it, we are probably going to purchase an Enterprise license to the ArcGIS Extension. The problems though... 1. App refuses to see my external SD card at all (SGSIII). Tested on several others, same issue. 2. App used to support GPS, but now it seems to only be locating based off of cell towers. The same map on the iPhone version is working fine. Yes, GPS is turned on. 3. Can't get any of the measuring tools to work yet. 4. Exported maps are only exported from data view, any formatting, disclaimers, and legend/marginal information you have does not come along with the app. 5. Text boxes made in data view do not come over correctly or scale right when zooming. 6. Doesn't export raster basemap export (Bing Aerials), haven't tested with local images. 7. Multi layer symbols with a layer turned off export with ALL symbol layers turned on. I am a GIS Specialist for a federal land management agency, and have been looking for something like this and the sister ESRI tool from DataEast to get easily distributable maps to end users on a myriad of devices. I ran across this yesterday and immediately tried it out on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (CM10.1).

Installed on my nexus 7. Every time I try to load my map.cmf, the apps keep crashing. Please look into this. - it was my projection need to be review. after discussion with support group, I found this apps need to support all other projections as well. other than that, i found this app the best apps ever, allow me to use my data.

I work for a municipal electric utility, and we use ESRI ArcGIS extensively. This is, by far, the best app I've found that enables our staff to carry all of our GIS data in the field. It's also amazing that symbology created in ArcGIS is seamlessly exported to the app map. And unlike ESRI's portable map app, you don't need a wi-fi or cellular connection to the cloud. It's also very cool that a touch of the screen accesses all of the feature data, even the stuff that is stored in GDB's on the desktop. Simply a fantastic app.

Great promise, very user friendly. I am a GIS Specialist for a federal land management agency, and have been looking for something like this and the sister ESRI tool from DataEast to get easily distributable maps to end users on a myriad of devices. I ran across this yesterday and immediately tried it out on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (CM10 M1). I used the USA Basemap available on their site for testing. This app, just simply put, works. Big buttons that are easy to use, limited options to keep it simple, and the usual pinch to zoom, layer selection and table of contents, make it very easy to get an end user into. I did run into a few problems though. It isn't clear what the North arrow button does, as the map was horizontal on the device until I clicked it (assuming it meant orient to north or auto rotate). The map then partially rotated, and nothing could get it back to horizontal, not even killing the app and restarting it. Worse yet, the map got upside down, and there was no way to turn it around, as rotating the phone kept it upside down again. Measuring is only available in KM on my US device. Can't wait to see what comes in the future here, I plan on making downloadable map packages for recreation areas.
