Excellent app.

Great content, but navigation is a bit funky. During study, I'd love to be able to quickly see the initial question on the same screen as the explanation. As it is today, I must navigate to the next question, and THEN go back to the one I wanted to see. Basically I just want to easily access the question and the explanation. Thanks!

100% on the written exam thanks to this app. Appreciated the detailed explanations and diagrams. For the cost of an hour of ground instruction, I'd say it's worth it.

Used to be a great app until two days ago when it quit working completely. I would wait to buy until they get this fixed.

App will not update. I tried restarting my phone and using Wi-Fi to download update and the app keeps freezing during update. UPDATE. This is the second day now trying to update this app. I tried the alternate update method several times still no success. Total waste of money.

APP has lots of problems, update issues, crashes, freezes etc. Get your $/-/I T together Dauntless.

I can't believe I paid $50 for such horrible app, you'll get the same result with a $10 app

App is riddled with bugs and other problems. They blame it on version updates and have quick fixes by adding alternative updating options (which is wierd). If they paid the software developers better, or hired more they could have a world class product... if they just want to put out sub-standard products at premium rates their competition will surpass them sooner then later. I do not recommend this product if you have access to a computer. There are better options.

BTW, I m using a Nexus device, which is a standard Android device... Please fix it for the price it cost

I've used a number of study aids, but this one is by far my favorite. Great explanations to questions, with pictures and diagram's. Lots of options for taking the quizzes and studying. The only thing that is kind of a pain is if your going to stop using the app for more than a few minutes you have to save your progress because the app will freeze up when you try to start again, and you will have to start back at the beginning. It's not a big deal, they make it very easy to do, you just have to remember.

Good questions and explanations if you can actually see it!Every time I leave the app for more than a few hours it crashes and I have to start over on my studies or quizzes. Lately it crashes every time I get to question number two so I can't even take practice tests. They gave me a pittiful response when I contacted them and offered no help or refunds. Don't let the high price of this app make you believe its worth the money. Spend your money on a $5-$10 dollar app and you'll probably get a better product!

I really like this app.. the recent problem was quikly fixed and this app is worth the money for studying. The question stacks are great. So it will no longer ask questions that are answered correctly over and over.

This app was suggested by my cfi but it crashes constantly on my device. Probably every 5 questions on average. Content is great but stability is terrible!

Had app for months. Worked great. Recent update now causes app to shut down upon answering first question. Emails to support with details seeking help have gotten no response whatsoever. Went from great app to useless. If no response coming from support with help then what use is it to charge people $$ for this app?? Very disappointing lack of customer service.

Had it for 10 mins and it crashed. Galaxy S6. Not cool for $49.

This app is great!! Spent a solid few months slowly churning through this app after taking a weak ground school class that left me not feeling prepared, but this app really brought it all home for me and proved it when I breezed through my private pilot airplane written and got a 97%. The two questions that I missed were my fault - I should have known them. But, this app was definitely a great investment!!

Amazing application and support team. This application has been the most helpful tool in my private pilot training and will definitely be my go-to as I pursue future certifications. Also, I can't say enough about the support team. I've opened two tickets and both were resolved quickly and professionally.

A mediocre app that is way over priced compared to its free or very inexpensive counterparts like Sporty's. Customer service is all but rude.

I purchased the private test prep a few months before taking the VFR knowledge test. It was a perfect fit for my Smartphone and made a great study aid for those times when I had a few minutes waiting... for my wife at the department store, to pick up a kid at school, for the gas tank to fill, etc. The multiple study formats allowed me to use the study app several different ways depending on the time available. Going over the data base of FAA questions several times was first a great learning process.

This app is great to study for my upcoming tests but, it's practice tests are useless 8/10 times as it crashes when finishing and submitting the test. I have a brand new phone so it has to be the software. Hopefully they update it. Probably after I take my test of course.

Looks like the gs4 update issue has been fixed - nice! Still a few crashes here and there, but overall, this app is awesome with great content and tips.

Absolutely worth the money, used it for two ratings so far. Works fine on nexus devices. Cheapest aviation training you will ever get!

All in all it's a great app. Wish there was an unlock code, maybe linked to email so app could be sidestepped and used between Android and Apple devices. As it is currently, I would have to purchase it separately on both devices to do that. I'm able to do it with certain magazine subscriptions... so it's possible. Still a good product and getting better.

It is an add on, but I like studying with the audio files the best.

I paid $25 to download the audio to listen while I drive. After trying several combinations, Including studying all, the application only has 40 questions in audio. All updates are current. I tried Uninstalling & reinstalling the application with no luck. JUNK! THE FIX, was I get to download the audio mp3 from a server and listen to it. Doesn't work with the application. Still not happy, waiting for the bug to be fixed.

Took awhile to unravel this application. Once I understood how things worked, I was impressed and just how dump I was!

The overall content is good, and I want to like it, but like others, the app loves to crash on my gs4. I've rebooted, cleared cache, freed space, and I still can't get the in-app database updates to get past 99% without freezing and crashing. 72% - crash, 92% - crash, etc... in an endless crashing loop. Unacceptable for such a high priced app on one of the most common android phones. Will update review if/when fixed.

Just downloaded the app. I'm trying to down load the writer updates and checking for updates. After waiting a few minutes download either update, the app crashes. Any help? -Samsung S5

This app is the best for the written. The flash card mode will really help you learn the areas you are weakin and improve you knowledge while preparing you for the written exam. I have tried over 7 apps and programs including kings course and i find this app to be the best! Keep up the great work and thank you. JR. Update I passed my written and scored 2% below what I was getting on the practice test with this app. This is the best if you want to lean the material and really know your stuff!

Great app

Studied two to three hours per day in conjunction with other books. Scored 100% on first attempt taking actual FAA Airman Knowledge Exam for Rotorcraft Helicopter. Check ride here I come!!!

I had a few problems at first downloading the app. .. I contacted costumer service and they got back to me in several hours with the solution. It was then resolved and I could proceed to studying. Student pilot Helicopter

Awesome app. Just do the test in this app, when you score 80% or above in a row, do your actual test. U'll be fine. I score 92% on mine. 50bucks is cheaper than 100 bucks you have to spend to retake your test if u failed
