Veel agrariërs in Limburg voeren hun bedrijf in waterwingebieden en/of grondwaterbeschermingsgebieden. Zij worden daarbij geconfronteerd met strengere regels voor gebruik van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen. De provincie Limburg wijst de beschermingsgebieden aan. Ze zijn te herkennen aan de blauwe borden langs de weg. Voor agrariërs is het nog wel eens onduidelijk waar nu de grenzen in het veld precies lopen. Het komt regelmatig voor dat de grens over een perceel loopt. Voor de bedrijfsvoering is dat lastig: moet ik op mijn percelen wel of niet rekening houden met strengere regels?

Om u hierbij te helpen, heeft WML de ‘Grondwater App’ ontwikkeld. Met de app kunt u op uw smartphone op iedere plek in het veld zien of u zich binnen of buiten een waterwingebied of grondwaterbeschermingsgebied bevindt. Dat maakt het makkelijk te bepalen welke gewasbeschermingsmiddelen wel en niet zijn toegestaan.

U kunt zelf aangeven of u een topografische kaart als achtergrond wenst of een luchtfoto. U kunt naar wens wisselen tussen deze 2 achtergronden. Groundwater App

You can specify whether you want a topographical map as a background or an aerial. You can switch as desired between these two backgrounds.
