Flypay allows customers to enhance their dining experience by splitting and paying the bill directly from their phone.
No more waiting endlessly for the waiter to see the awkward wave. Flypay aims to transform the restaurant payment experience by cutting it down from an average of 10 minutes to 60 seconds.
Simply pop in your table number and view your bill, or maybe even order some more goodies. Check your bill from your phone and pay it fully or split with your friends, equally or by choosing which items to pay for in real-time. Alternatively, you can set up a bar tab and invite your friends to join, meaning less time standing at the bar like a lemon and more time enjoying your evening.

Tried to use burrito mama app. This requires login via flypay mobile number. Created flypay account, says my mobile number in use. What? Someone else entered accidentally? Too much effort, uninstalled.

A useful payment application ...but sadly no Google+ love (only Facebook junk), all payment details are saved on their (hopefully secure) servers and payment options are limited to basic debit/credit cards only (no PayPal, Google Pay or even Bitcoins choices) / Device: OnePlus One (64Gb)

It does what our sets out to do, but it would be really handy if it showed you which items have already been paid for (even better if it could show WHO paid for each item). Would make it easier to work out if you forgot to pay for something or avoid people getting confused and paying for the same item.

I work in mobile payments. I was more excited about using this app than I probably should've been. Yes I'm a geek and yes, this app played a part in deciding where I should eat (like the Burrito Mama app). You can imagine then how disappointed I was to find that the NFC tag simply redirected me to a generic "tag received" dialog with nothing I could act on. The QR code showed more promise, up until the point that it said I had no Internet connection even though I did. I tried 3G and WiFi; no joy on either.
