I was super excited to get a new phone and get a blogger app. However, anytime I try to post something, it fails to post bc it says it can't find the picture that I selected using the app. So frustrating! Please please fix this!

by Q####:

I find that this app is far less useful than the desktop version. It is full of bugs...saving gets frozen, photos cannot be inserted, posts are listed out of order...sigh...I am forced to use the desktop version on my tablet and phone...most cumbersome. All of this with a VERY simple blog...no bells or whistles, just straight text and photos...

Q70%
by Q####:

Why this app can't be as good as the WordPress app is beyond me, this is owned by the GOOGLE for God's sake. This looks and acts like an app created by some rookie developer and not by the Internet giant Google. Ridiculous!

Q70%
by Q####:

Hi. Could you please add an option to delete a entire blog instead of just being able to delete blog entries. I have unwanted blogs and it's inconvenient to go on the web with my phone to delete a blog. If this could be fixed I'd give a 5 star for simplicity.

by Q####:

No other clarification. No mention of what image format is supported. Do we have to mind hack or appear in Googlez dream to know that. 4 every step ths app needs Google app or browser. This is 2017. Blogger has a toddler Team.

D70%
by D####:

As a blogger we need to be able to see a lot more on the app such as stats and traffic on the go. If I still have to use the website on laptop for it then it's not much of a use. Pls add the tabs to see the stats n traffic also. I can't believe Google is updating everything else except this app, it's a great window for them to not loose bloggers. If such a bad app layout continue, we may want to shift to other platforms.

I have to hit Refresh number of times to get full posts list and even then when I enter post editor and go back, the post list is out of date again (shows a post from a month ago at the top, followed by a post published years ago etc). I cannot add images in PNG format. There is no autosave. The list goes on and on. The cherry on top is: this app has not changed for years now. It is so bad that I prefer using blogger dashboard in mobile browser. Waste of storage.

I wrote an article which I wanted to publish as soon as possible - and after added just a picture, it never got published for days. Is this how it works? Please fix it because it's very disappointing.

F70%
by F####:

What it does, it does quite well. It can add, edit, and publish basic text blog posts, and insert pictures. That's it. Almost no support for rich text (if you have a physical keyboard, you can bold or underline). No support for editing the underlying HTML. No support for pages. No admin capabilities for your site (Layout? Stats? C'mon Google!).

W70%
by W####:

Unfortunately, this app is nothing helpful than desktop interface. Refreshing the articles doesnt help, app is not responding and changes are not saved. I see overall drop of quality cross google platform and i guess you guys have a lot of for bug fixings. I hope you will find time and proffesionals as soon as possible to get this great app to 5 stars.

I feel like the app should be updated because it need to be like an app mode not a website view. It be nice that we can be more creatives options. It be nice to have this as a app view similar to WordPress. Having as a website view in the app is frustrating because we want an app that not like a view of a site. An app of categories that we can navigate through and love blogger app more. Be nice to upgrade the blogger app and categories for bloggers / businesses but keep the app free because not everyone can afford to pay for apps. I feel free apps that have it all will bring a lot to your company with lot of rating. Knowing Google is already big and having a app for blogging etc that is free and have a upgrade be worth it .thanks. Hope to see changed and I will change my review. Overall Google is a great company

On a Galaxy S7 and can't get photos to load. I've tried shrinking the photos, adjusting app settings, loading the photo every way I can think of and no luck. The WordPress app is far superior but WordPress doesn't do lots of the things I want. The third party Blogger apps are slightly better.

i really wish the photo bug would be fixed. i moved my blog from wordpress to blogger to make it easier to post from my mobile devices. the app hasn't been updated in almost two years. the email for contact for the app is a no-reply email address. (tried sending for feedback.) i have a bad feeling that blogger might be on its way out.

The interface is old Android design. Will it ever be updated with Material Design? Otherwise, it's very basic and functions well enough I think for text drafts. The simplicity is good. It just seems neglected. Blogger on the big web just recently got the consistent Google header bar, so maybe the Android app will get updated. This is more about the service than the look and feel. I hope blogger continues to be a good platform. Update 2/9/17 I noticed the last app update was 2/10/16, a year ago! No big fixes? No performance enhancements? No Material Design? Posting photos from the app was still broken recently.

Q70%
by Q####:

Blogger, as a tool and service, I enjoy. I use it for different blog writings on my laptop and it services my needs easily. It's a shame that the mobile version of Blogger is too simplistic. I want to write or update posts on the goal but there aren't any proper text tools (Fonts, Size, Bold, Italicize, etc.) If the mobile version gained proper text options, then I'd use it far more often.

I totally get that this is only an app and will never do what the full version does but there are just a few things that make me especially crazy. A. Having to upload pictures one by one by one. B. Not being able to rearrange the order of pictures if one doesn't load when you save or if you make a mistake. C. Please PLEASE consider adding the option of letting us upload VIDEO with this app!

Q70%
by Q####:

I wish there is an update, so I can do the same things as done on the blogger website. It did be a really good help for a blogger like me who updates the blog regularly. When I use this app I don't feel like I m blogging, it's just like notepad without fonts. And the upload of multiple photos is also not supportive. It did be great if Google consider this app too for improvement!

I bought a domain name last summer for my blogger website through Google domains. As a new mom, I didn't use the site except for my initial post for a number of weeks. When I went to work on it again, I saw that I had missed an email asking me to confirm. It was too late by that point and blogger would no longer post to my domain. I've sent 4-5 inquiries with absolutely no response from blogger.

The app appears to be easy to use. I'm able to easily navigate to write a post. It's simple. It's lightweight. But it won't ever let me publish... I can't attach photos either. I was hoping to use this frequently, but the first time I tried to post, it crashed three times... I'm a bit bummed. I'm going to keep the app in hopes that it gets fixed, but I'm not holding my breath. =(

Q70%
by Q####:

I just downloaded the app. While the ease of access and easy-to-use layout makes this a brilliant app, I have already noticed a problem. When multi-tasking (switching to another app), this app erases the post content upon returning if the post has not been saved as a draft. I find this highly inconvenient. Is there any way this can be corrected?

Q70%
by Q####:

Blogger app is really handy for on-the-go posting. I wish there were more formatting options available, but I can't really complain. I am having an issue where a recent post seems to have frozen mid 'saving'. The app kept crashing after I attached a photo to a post and then tried to remove the photo.

Q70%
by Q####:

Why bother downloading an app if you can't create a blog in it and do everything you could had you went on a desktop and went to the website. It makes me go to the browser to create a blog. I may as well just not use the app and go to the blogs website to do everything. Being a Google App you'd think the creators would be smarter than this. You get paid millions for what exactly? No excuse for stupid mistakes like this happen

I70%
by I####:

App is just OK. But it do not have any good use of this app. Just good for keeping draft and publishing it later. And just to write something without able to change font etc. This app need to get more features. At least something which will be easily done then going to desktop version for anything.

L70%
by L####:

I created a lengthy post. Saved it as I went along. Attempted to publish but with failure. It failed to link to my desktop and tablet versions. After I attempted to publish, the post then flickered between saving and draft for 2 of my unpublished posts. It finally stopped, grayed out saying saving, and I couldn't access it. From other devices all you could see where the titles and a pic but not my words. I went to desktop version and published the other draft that contained the pic, and your system published both at the same time. So now when I go to my mobile app EVERYTHING IS LOST. It says empty! I want my creation back

Q70%
by Q####:

Wow. ???? I cannot believe that this app is developed by Google! I expect more from such a huge, rich company. Where's the Material Design? Where's the Social features where you can easily explore other sites? I use Blogger a lot, I just want more from an amazing company.

If you're starting to blog like myself, and want to start on something simple just to see if it will workout, this app is not for you. It doesn't allow you to upload photos or videos. To make this short, the only thing you can do is write, and link. I tried this on both iphone and android and it is the same thing. Save your self some time and go to your laptop if you want to write on your blog.

Q70%
by Q####:

What are you waiting for to update the app? Right now, all we can do is write articles and publish them. Even basic formatting options are missing (font, size, color...). We can't view blog stats. We can't view or edit the blog layout. The design is obsolete. Take example at the Wordpress app. It's time for an update, we can't continue like that.

I have not been able to use this app for a few years because this app won't let me publish new post, with or without photo. I've tried with different android phones, and nothing works. Why don't they fix this crucial problem for such a long time?

T70%
by T####:

I think this app has lot of potential but I wish that more features could be included, especially for those bloggers who love structure in our post and like to style them as we wish. Beside, to fix the way the posts are published because there's thing like the space between each paragraph that doesn't fit when it finally lived.

I understand there are a lot of variables to get the app to improve. I was really hoping for some of my html post template as I type on the go since I have done a lot of personalization on my blog. There is no other options aside from bold, italicized and alignment available when typing, as well as being able to move images as freely on the web version as opposed to the mobile one. I had no choice but to uninstall this once again. Wish to see more improvements on the app.

I have been blogging for about 3 years now and the website is definitely easer to use although I liked the fact you could take a picture on your phone and put it straight up on your blog. THIS NOW DOSE NOT WORK NOW. When I put a picture on the app it turns our black. When I try to delete the picture from the post it just crashes. Please fix this. Apart from that it works fine. There are somethings you can't do on the app that you can do on the website but that is always the way. Over all it is ok.

Not wild about it. I have used the blogger website for a couple of years now, but the app falls short. Firstly, a nice big "publish" button would be useful (which is on the website, btw). Secondly, when I used it for the first time today, I published an entry I'd written a couple of weeks ago. The publish date was when it the entry was created, not today. On the website this is handled correctly -- it publishes on the date it's published, not written.

I wish the Blogger app was better. It does work to some extent. My main gripe is it freezes trying to upload pictures, if I try uploading a picture it just had a black square, if I try hitting X it crashes the app. The app really doesn't do a lot, and I find I end up using the interface through the Web, which isn't as friendly on mobile.

I have been using this app now since I started blogging, but unlike the WordPress app it has no bullet and numbering no number list etc ...plz improve the app and add more features also I can't add photo at the center or in between of a post.. It also stay at the bottom...I will rate it 5 star when its improved.

Google failed to maintain and innovate on the blogspot. The app kept crashing and its annoying. I am very dissapointed with the app. I hope the development team realise that they are dealing with a technology that will last several lifetimes. If they fail to maintain and innovate they will lose out to their competitor wordpress eventually

I have to create and add pictures on my computer. It will not publish my blog if I do that on my phone. I can add words and it will publish. This makes extra work to blog. I also think I should be able to see and edit in Gmail on my phone, through the Internet icon. The options there are so limited, it's frustrating.

Y70%
by Y####:

This used to work well for me. Very easy, accurate and smooth. Now I feel lucky if I can get it to work. Hit and miss functionality at best. I've sent feedback numerous times. The worst is when I'm not using it and a pop up appears on my home screen saying blogger has stopped working. I realize Google is a super huge entity but some support would be appreciated. I'll give 5 stars for a fix.

Blogger for mobile devices used to work great but there hasn't been an update in months. In the past, I used it frequently, but once it began crashing after opening it, I had to give up. Tried reinstalling multiple times -- still failed to launch

W70%
by W####:

Now it crashes every time I try to open it. I just updated hoping this would fix the problem but it didn't. Sometimes I just want to use the mobile app instead of the desktop site. I think most people are having the same issue. I'm uninstalling because I've just read the comments and it doesn't look like the issues will be fixed anytime soon so no point in taking up space on my phone.

Y70%

I'm only about half sold. Wish I could search like I can on the web version. - edit to add: I've uninstalled this ap. After creating a post on my phone and saving it, 3 days later the post was not available online for me to edit. Pictures are never visible until viewed online. I had hoped this would be better. It's not.
