Once downloaded, this tour REQUIRES NO DATA to operate and activate, so you won’t incur roaming or data charges. YOU DO NOT REQUIRE A CELLULAR NETWORK CONNECTION TO TOUR!! You will not incur any data roaming charges to use this tour, even if you are from outside the USA. Works Off-line and with Data Roaming turned OFF.

Professional tour guides have filled the guide with interesting and entertaining stories, loads of tips and advice on what to do and will point out places of interest as you approach them. There are 302 commentary points.

From the south, start the tour in Wilmington and continue all the way to Jeffersonville.

Form the north, start the tour in Jeffersonville and drive RT100 all the way to Wilmington.

BUT, you also can join ANYWHERE along the route.

Just download the app on Wi-Fi from your network at home, your resort or use any free Wi-Fi network. Because the app is filled with audio commentary and maps, its larger than "normal" apps. Many phone/data networks will block the download because of size - so its IMPORTANT to download over a Wi-Fi network.

This tour is not just a directory but a designed tour to follow, just like how a tour guide would take you. It’s simple and entertaining; just let GyPSy provide commentary automatically as you travel. It’s just like driving around with a local expert.

Warning: the tour suggests many great places to try Vermonts favorite culinary treats - bring your appetite.

++ Continued use of GPS running in the background increases battery usage - we strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger.

This is a fabulous way to travel along VT 100. The insight offered by the narrator makes it feel like she is in the car with you, sharing lovely stories to make the drive interesting. Can't wait to try additional GyPSy Guides for another parts of the US.

I was worried this would just be a bunch of pitches for local restaurants, etc. It's NOT !! It really does feel like you have a friend who's a local riding with you. Great local trivia and driving directions (like "turn right after the little red house"). The narator is obviously a native AND has a nice sense of humor. And its easy to use and you don't have to take your eyes off the road. It just starts talking when the GPS knows you are at a certain spot. Only thing I'd like is more pictures (like of the various covered bridges) so you can decide to skip one. If ver 2.0 does that, I'll try to give it a "6" :-)

I very much enjoyed the company along my trip through Vermont! Loved her delightful voice and the interesting commentary along the way. It was just perfect! I love this concept and am looking forward to using the app to travel routes all over New England.
