inkl - Breaking news from the world's best sources

I have only just installed this on my phone, and as is my want, chose to set up a new account rather than sign in via Facebook, Twitter, or Google! The reason I'm writing this review so soon into the experience of using this App is because I'm deeply impressed by the commitment to security and privacy! I attempted to sign in via my password, and it said the password was invalid, and reminded to check my email, which I did, and found the email asking me to confirm who I was! Having hit the let me in button, (or use the verification code if my email was not on this device) I accessed the app and went straight to settings, and discovered that inkl only desire my password IF I WANT TO CHANGE IT!! Wow, an app that doesn't want your password, unless yer gonna change it? That impressed me no end! So to end this (what has turned out to be a vignette of my day) a better review will at some point be on the way!

It was my 4th reader app, along with newstand, smartnews, and 360. But since my trial period expired, now I only have 3 readers again. May I just make a suggestion? Before you start asking for payment, please ensure that the app is better than all the rest of the free ones.

Given the choice made by the company of UK sources - in which it omits prominent newspapers-of-record, like The Times and The Daily Telegraph - I'm going to treat this application with a healthy dose of scepticism, as I wonder whether "trustworthy journalism" refers here merely to journalism with a certain political leaning, either in addition to or in spite of any notion of quality.

Good app, but doesn't display articles from The Atlantic - possibly because it requires cookies and they are a browser entity? Articles from other publications display OK, as do Atlantic articles in the web version.

I have been using Flipboard for the last 4 years and this is the best replacement I have ever seen! This is my new favorite app! All the sources are presented in a readable way so you can read enjoyably.

Fantastic way to read a broad range of news without going to each individual site. Also a great way to contribute financially to good journalism. I use it every day

I think this is the best place to get just News, without bias and drama. It's clean and provides world news in just one place. Great work, keep it up.

Inkl takes up much of my media diet now... The "dig deeper" function is excellent and being able to customise everything is amazing. Love it.

Inkl is awesome! Its quickly become my daily news habit and the premium service is way cheaper than subscribing to newspapers.

Inkl remains as of yet still nothing more than a liberal globalist-communist propaganda pipeline, however it is truly aesthetically beautiful. This was my second visit to see if there might have been any sort of balance achieved in the delivery of content, but it is sadly both Leftist and repetitive to this day, coupled with an exorbitantly priced premium subscription. Perhaps independently wealthy Wall Street Liberals only need apply for this faux-news aggregate service, as they are consummate Nanny State puppets.

Uninstalled after it was forcing me to pay for 'premium content'. Will get my news elsewhere. For free.

Great app, call me cheap but I don't know if $18/mth is really that affordable for premium. I guess I would be a pretty casual user as I check this app infrequently so maybe that's why. Would be worth it for those wanting reputable results without knowing where to look though

This app is a great way to get the news, but it needs more view customization. Look at Amazon Kindle or Google Play for the sort of reading customization options you need to include in the app.
