Hourly Pricing Widget (ComEd)

Worked for years. Website change broke it. Developers worked to fix it. Great app for those on hourly rate pricing.

It used to work great, but now ComEd is calling their program "hourly pricing." The RRTP website this references is no longer available. It should work great again if they update the URL the widget references.

This widget is as handy as a shirt pocket. I love being able to the current ComEd rate and being able to quickly view the chart.

Nice widget. Helps me keep up with ComEd unexpected price jumps on rtp.

Would be a great and useful app, but I get error messages every time I use it. Error message is "Unsupported number of Chrome instances": Seems like the methods they use to open the browser is not correct.

Simple widget to tell current costs of our electricity. Click on it for the graphs. Love it!

I love the app/widget for the high price alerts. But that feature stopped working. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared the cache and data. Reset the limits. No joy. The most useful part no longer functions.

Glad I found this app. Everything it does, it does perfectly. I wish it allowed me to set a low price alert. I want to know when I should run my dishwasher and do laundry. Having a low price alert would be awesome. If the price goes negative in the middle of the night, I would wake up to lower the temp, turn on the dishwasher and start a load of laundry.

Very simple widget that allows me to keep track of energy prices in real time. I'm glad you developed this app.

This is perfect, now if only someone would make an app that would work with vera and the rrtp prices to turn my A/C off and on.

Allows multiple instances of the widget to be placed on the home screen, so you can display multiple prices. As author states, it's not an app. Select it by opening your program list, selecting the "widgets" tab at the top, and then putting this widget on your home screen. It's compact enough I have it displaying both the expected rate and the 5-minute trend on my home screen. Nice job!

It will not open as a app instead you need to open it as a widget then it works great

Does the job. Easy check of actual prices since the RRTP forecast is a dog. Would be nice to allow changes to settings without having to replace the widget.

Doesn't even launch

Could be prettier, but does the job. You get only 1 of 3 price choices when you install. If you want to see more than one on your desktop, install the widget a 2nd or 3rd time.

Excited to try it, couldn't even launch. What a waste of time!!!!!

Sucks

Saved me some money when power was at record highs this week

Edited after a day of use. Dropped to 2 stars. Seems that widgets die after awhile with error "problem loading" displayed. If I delete and re-add they work again for awhile, then die again. --- Does the basic job so three stars. Works fine so far on GS3. Improvements I would prefer to see are the option to display more prices on the same 1x1 widget as well as perhaps a 1x2 widget with all three prices on it. It would save some widget spots for those with high res screens. Add to that a graph widget like on the live-price link and you'll be at 5 stars!

Google Nexus - installed but could not find the widget, finally found it under RRTP, not ComEd RRTP. Still, it does not work after placing it on the desktop.

Would be great if it worked
