Wondzorg

De wondzorg app is een initiatief van de afdelingen infectieziekten en orthopedie van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC). Wij willen met deze app de zorg voor patiënten met een nieuwe gewrichtsprothese verbeteren. We bieden een makkelijke manier om dagelijks de wond te beoordelen en deze te fotograferen. Daarnaast zijn we geïnteresseerd in hoe lang wonden lekken en wat de risico’s daarvan zijn. We bieden via de App laagdrempelig contact met de behandelend artsen aan. Vooralsnog is deze App alleen in studieverband te gebruiken. Wound care app is an initiative of the departments of orthopedics and infectious diseases at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). We want to improve the care of patients with a new prosthetic joint with this app. We offer an easy way to assess the wound daily and photograph these. We are interested in how long lick wounds and the risks thereof. We offer the App accessible contact the treating doctors. As yet, this app can only be used in a study.
