The data bases are accurate, comprehensive (and continually upgraded) and based on 40 years of intensive research. Sources include all issues of TIME, NEWS WEEK, The New York Times, biographies, anthologies, Encyclopedia Britannica, peer-reviewed medical journals, etc.

VIPatients encompasses ALL diseases and deaths of ALL famous persons, worldwide - from Biblical times to this morning's news. To date, the program includes over 14,000 famous persons - living and dead: composers, saints and apostles, musicians (by instrument) and athletes (by sport), criminals, famous animals, movie-television-radio stars, American Indians and cowboys, circus folk, world leaders (by country), inventors, biblical personalities, painters and sculptors, industrialists...over 319 professions.


For each person, or profession, the user can instantly access details on 437 diseases and causes of death: vehicular accidents (automobile, bicycle, airplane, etc), animal bites, battle injuries, cancer (by type), decapitation, heart surgery, psychiatric disorders, suicide-murder-execution (by method), fractures (by bone)...and lots more. Options also allow generation of a list for a given profession (ie, all popular singers) or year(s); or a listing of fatal cases only (as opposed to all cases) for a given disease.

In July 2011, when we launched VIPatients, the application contained 14,000 famous "patients" and the statistics quoted above. Within one month the number expanded to 17,000 - and all of the lists continue to grow on a daily basis !
