Lucid dreaming is learning to know you are dreaming, while you are dreaming. Becoming aware that you are dreaming allows you to shape, influence and direct your dreams with clarity, instead of being uncritically controlled by them. This app will train you to achieve lucidity in your dreams and understand them better by revealing their patterns.

When you are aware of being in a dream, you can also learn to master experiences that aren't possible in waking reality. You can fly, breathe under water or whatever else you put your mind to. With the sensations as real as in waking life. Your mind is the only limit.

It is reported that lucid dreaming can also help to overcome nightmares, be used to rehearse success for real life scenarios and be used train creativity.

Become awoken - Start dreaming for real!

After working with my dreams for decades, it's wonderful to have an app that follows the most recommended methods for initiating dream lucidity: asking yourself several times during the day whether you're dreaming, carrying that trigger into your sleep state, and keeping a dream journal. Well done! Edit: while the concept works, the execution suffers. I wrote to the developers twice to find out how I can export my dream journal, which is saved locally. They never replied. I stopped using the app since I have no way of transferring it to my new device.

I downloaded it and was psyched. I was more psyched that I was wrong in thinking I had to pay for it after the trial was up; all the essential features have been free for more than a month. Try the "are you dreaming?" prompts for a while and really do what they say, you see your consciousness in a slightly different way while this is on. I stopped answering the alerts and they shut off after a few days. Now I just use it as a dream journal. 5 out of 5, great features for free, cool aesthetic.

This app is perfect i have had lucid dreams when i was a kid and now wanted to expirience it again i hope it will be possible with yhe help of this app. But when i try to connect the dream cloud it says "authenticated account is not a user" please help me with this problem. I dont want to lose my dream journal.

This has made me very committed, and excited to practice lucid dreaming. I haven't had my first, yet, but I'm so confidant I'm gonna have it soon since this week is my first. Thans amazing devs! Update: Something that really bugs me is asking when I sleep, and when I wake up. Obviously one answers another. Another thing is that sometimes I don't get reality checks. I'm using LG G4, and am sure my settings aren't the problem.

It needs some work. My totem sounds don't go off during the night when my notification sound is on. :( it says it's selected but then says silent and doesn't work. But it does help you lucid dream. The very first night using this I lucid dreamed for like 5 seconds but then slipped back into regular dreaming.

X70%
by X####:

Downloaded the app about a week ago and so far loving it. Only thing is there's a bug in which where the totem sound doesn't activate. My phone would be asleep and the totem sounds won't play unless I wake my phone which is weird. Please if you can fix that it'd be great.

by A####:

As a preface, I've never written a review for any product. That being said this app is an easy to use and effective tool for increasing lucidity while dreaming. The dream journal is wonderful. Going one step further, intermittent alarms throughout the night are crucial for those who struggle with their awareness in dream-states. All of this is wrapped together in a neatly packaged user interface. 10/10 would bang.

Nice idea for an app. I've been meaning to keep a dream journal for a while but never got around to it, this is great because of the pin protection. The nudge doesn't play at night. Also if you could make it so that I can back my dreams up to my Google account that would be great. Do that and fix the night sound issue and I'll 5star.

by X####:

This is the first app that has inspired me to write a review, and that's because it works. For years I have tried to have lucid dreams but I have never been successful. I started using Awoken last week and then Friday Night I had my first Lucid Dream! The totem sound system which prompts you to do reality checks during the day and then plays the same totem sound when you are sleeping is genius and worked for me almost immediately. My only tip would be to make it possible to adjust the volume on the Reality Checks like you can with the Dream Clues. I know you can put them on vibrate. But I like the reinforcement of that same totem sound, just not so loud in some situations. Thanks for a great App! 5 Stars!

Me and this punk rock mercenary we're on the run from almost everyone. Cops, other people who wanted to kill us, and I occasionally his brother. We had ways of moving about the city they were pretty crazy. We were basically ninjas who occasionally ran into people who wanted us dead. It was very futuristic and post-apocalyptic.

I have a smartwatch, since sometimes I am not allowed to look at my phone at certain times, and it would be nice if you made the reality check and journal reminder notifications more "smartwatch-friendly". Other than that, a GREAT app. Really helpful.

Today i've had my first lucid dream, and i just followed some steps for it. Simply awesome! Update: Please, i need help to get my stored dreams back. I changed my google account name but it's still the same email account. However, the app doesn't recognize it and understand that like a new account. I've lost all my dreams reports and since there's no support at the app (it'd be nice if had one for feedback and comments) i'm calling for help over here. Is there any possibility I restore my dreams yet? Really waiting for contact, thanks!

Great way to keep track of your subconscious. I would like to see the tags as links so you can open the corresponding dream journal entries by clicking on the tag. It would also be nice to get visuals like graphs for the number of times a tag has been used.

Started with this app and already I'm running into trouble I paid for the full version but I can't seem to get a few of the features working. I would like it to be fixed. I can't get the dreams to sync I've tried a few times but it keeps saying I have zero dreams even though that's wrong. if the people who made this could fix it it would be appreciated.

Easy to use, I'm excited. Update: I achieved lucidity within 9 days of downloading the app!! Wow such a great app. Take note, I have some previous experience so that's why it worked so fast. I was terrible about the dream journal and got so so results. Also the reality check I was doing often failed. I followed the instructions to a T doing the checks regularly and even doing the recording when I had no dream. Now I remember 5 dreams a night vividly and have had multiple lucid experience. Thanks!!

Not a lot of flare or flash, but that's good cause it's not really needed! I have had this for about a month and so far it is reliable and super easy to use. I have not had a lucid dream yet, but i have been successful in recalling more dreams where before the app I barely ever recalled that I had a dream. Just that it has helped me with that is awesome. I am hopeful that the lucid dreams will come in time. I first had to get into the mindset of paying attention. This app definitely does that.

U70%
by U####:

I love the way the app works. I always use to forget to write my dream down but with this app the morning notification always reminds me! The one complaint I have is tiny but I wish that the totem sound was on media or alarm instead of notifications because I have to put my phone on silent a lot. So if you have to do that too just consider that.

Z70%
by Z####:

Journal needs work. A plus mark is adequate to add but a check mark to save? How about a big save button? I lost several entries because of that. I thought they were auto saving. Or how about auto save whenever the journal screen is moved away from? This isn't impossible since i have other apps that save work when something else goes on. Otherwise neat app that has helped explore lucid dreaming.

Z70%
by Z####:

Its works by helping you lucid dream but for the reality checks when i was lucid dreaming i could still count my fingers easily, i couldnt breathe by pinching my nose, nothing was out of the ordinary but i knew i was dreaming. Can you please add things that lets you actually make sure you dreaming? But i love the idea of the dream journal, that helps too. I will think of things that i can only do in dreams and let you know to make sure to put that in your reality checks. But very useful over-all.

D70%
by D####:

I have been using this for a year for the dream journal function since my phone is usually right by the bed. It reminds me to write my dream which is great. I bought the premium version to use the text to speech so I can ramble rather than swipe my dream. The dream patterns is awful. Apparently using "I" and "the" is a dream pattern. I haven't tried other lucidity or dream apps, but I really like this one. I wish the forum was a little more active since discussing lucidity with others helps lucidity

Is a great help with reality checks, and I love the journal with cloud. I have been using this for a long time now. Have had lucid dreams because of the reality check totem and have great dream recall. Don't give up! Do the research on different methods (wild, etc.) And use what works best for you. This app can help get you started if you're a newbie.

Works well for dream tracking, memory and learning things about yourself you've never known before. The only thing to add is adding a option for what perspective you were in, what senses you felt and maybe a small bit about what some dreams could mean. Overall this app is great, deserves over five stars.

I was having occasional lucid dreams before I used this app so hopefully this app will help me get to that state more often. I'm giving it 5 stars now as the advice in the app seems really good, the journal is very handy and it seems to be very well developed. I've just upgraded - simply to support the app - but I think there needs to be more, new, 'Pro' features. Thank you! :-) PS - Suggestion: Add "Ask yourself how you got here." in the "Are you dreaming?" reminders.

Android.Adware.Millenialmedia is also downloaded with this. Along with Malicious behavior. Should I worry? I mean i don't like ads much less adware, so I know i could delete this app and not recieve ads, but when im not using the app it could give me ads and open my playstore for me soo care to change that? and you'll get 5 stars

Some more optimization would be appreciated. I've also been facing an issue where my totem sound, when played while I'm asleep, is very quiet. I noticed this one night when i stayed up late. The ones that go off in the day however, are loud, and I tested both to make sure there was a difference. I don't know how to fix this

J70%

Its really helping me remember my dreams. Ive always had trouble with it but with reminders to journal it helps. The reality checks also help and force you to observe surroundings. You gotta work for it but its a very helpful app! Nice quality and a lovely three add free day trial. Its fantastic.

T70%

But I think the part when I can buy the premium version is stupid in app like this. It would be cool if only a cosmetic changes could be done with the premium version but not things like the dream patterns. If it was free or only cosmetic changes would be in the payed version I would put 5 stars :)

Z70%
by Z####:

When in dark mode the background of the text box turns white after switching back to the app from another. Auto saving would be nice and that plus button for creating new entries is too small. This could be especially troubling for someone with big fat sausage fingers(not me). Other than that great app

Please make the dream journal automatically save when I go to the home screen or leave the app. I wake up, write the journal, close the thing and get out of bed. Then I try to read it the next evening and its gone. Happens me every time. I can never remember the dreams then. The first time it happened I thought I had dreamt about writing the dream journal. Otherwise very good app.

P70%

It has definitely helped me recollect my dreams better, but I wish that I could record them for free instead of writing them. I'm too tired to write in the mornings. As for the lucid dreaming bit, it hasn't helped me at all. No lucid dreams and I've been using it for months. The reality checks are theoretically helpful but in reality not so much. Little disappointing.

Z70%
by Z####:

I love it. I struggled with reality checks this reminds me and the slog to get up pull out the journal and write is eliminated, just lay here and do it on your phone dictate or type. Awoken is a fantastic lucidity tool. Download it Oneironauts

I have been wanting an app that does exactly this for a long time. I've been using it for a few weeks and I'm up to 4 to 5 lucid dreams per week. I suggest anyone who is meditating, looking to learn about themselves or the universe, to grab this app. I set my night sounds to my text message notification sound because I am very trained to respond to that sound.

Z70%

I'm sure it's good. It has everything needed to guide you to a lucid dream... I just been working night shift and the city is ripping up my road... so I need sleep before I can fully get the benefits of this app

H70%

Everytime I try to send the dreams to myself it says "share the journal as a text by using an app, but nothing happens after. No option to pick an app or anything. Sometime it'll even crash. Not sure what the problem is.

Haven't yet used the app but, the description won me over. I really like the fact that you explain why all of the requirements are required. You are the first developers that I have seen care so much about their app. I have high hopes and will be reviewing again in approximately one week.

It does work, but you have to pay good attention to your surroundings. Try to imagine that is a dream and make things happen. Very important to have an intention what do you want to do when you become aware that's all a dream...Lots of techniques!

this is simple and mybe the best teaching app to teach lucid dreaming to remember your dreams. I'm just getting started so wish me luck :-P
