Na primeira fase, as 10 equipes disputam em turno único, jogos todos contra todos, em jogos só de ida.
Os quatro melhores times na classificação, garantem vaga na próxima fase. A partir daí, o campeonato entra na fase de mata-mata: semi e final, todos com jogos de ida e volta.
Os rebaixados serão os dois times de piores campanha na primeira fase.
Na semifinal, o time de melhor campanha enfrenta o 4º, e 2ª duela com o 3º, os dois primeiros classificados desses, terão seu mando de campo nos jogos de volta.
O campeão e o vice disputarão a Copa do Nordeste de 2019 e a Copa do Brasil de 2019. A equipe que conquistar o 3º lugar terá direito a escolher uma vaga, também, na Copa do Nordeste de 2019 ou na Série D do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2019. The top four teams in the standings, guarantee place in the next phase. From there, the championship enters the knockout phase: semi and final round with all games and back.
The demoted will be the two teams with the worst campaign in the first phase.
In the semifinal, the best campaign team faces the 4th, and 2nd duels with the 3rd, the top two of these, will have their home field in games back.
The champion and the vice dispute the Copa do Nordeste 2019 and the Brazil Cup 2019. The team that win the 3rd place will be entitled to choose a place, too, in the Northeast 2019 or D Series Cup the Brazilian Championship 2019.
