Bought it when it was just a medical calculator. Now demands I subscribe and stops working after 5 using calculators in a day. Feel a bit short changed on that purchase then. Now does not work even if I hadn't used it. No response from developer to an email some time ago. Feels like a bait and switch, old version was a bait to fund development of more lucrative subscription model very disappointing behaviour

Bought when it was a calculator. Now it won't let me do any calculations if I don't pay a monthly fee. I have sent numerous E-mails but no response.

Despite buying at full price prior to subscription model, I have been locked out of my app. I fell cheated

I think this one is a must have app for any nurse practitioner. It is simple and away of physician's jargons. Please keep adding new features and calculations.

UPDATE: The updated app asks for 10$ per annum for new users after a trial period. However if you were a previously paid customer you will not have to pay the subscription fee. One of the best med calculators I have seen.

I've been using this for some time, and it's incredibly helpful, especially for a med student. Although UI updates are always welcome, I'd suggest the devs checked Google's material design guidelines. That would make the app feel a lot more fluid. Other than that, it's an outstanding app, and I'm glad they're open to customer's reviews.

Update: The newest version added ads and limits your number of uses per day unless you make a one-off payment. Nothing wrong with paying for a good app, but now I am worried I have to pay each time I install on a new phone... It's fast, responsive and not over-cluttered unlike other med apps out there.

I've used this to calculate the Framingham risk score and found the results to be flawed. I had a 55 year old patient with a total cholesterol of 130 and HDL of 45, BP of 120, non-smoker, non-med controlled BP and this calculator gave something like a 16% 10 year risk. It didn't make sense so I plugged in the numbers to http://cvdrisk.nhlbi.nih.gov and got a less than 1% 10 year risk.
