Stockbridge Primary School

Welcome to Stockbridge Primary School. We are a small village school situated in the heart of the Test Valley. You should not be misled by our size – we are a small school with big ambitions! Our school community is dedicated to ensuring that every child is well cared for, challenged to achieve their best and supported to ensure they thrive in our learning environment. It is an enormous privilege to be part of a child’s development and we know how important and influential a good school is on a child’s education and later life. Our motto ‘shaping learners for life’ is held very dear to our hearts – we are preparing children for a world we ourselves aren’t really sure of and here at Stockbridge, we strive to develop a child who is ready to face the future; both academically and socially. Every child really matters and we know our children and families well. We are one of only a few primary schools in Hampshire to have a Children’s Centre and Pre-School on site. This gives us a unique opportunity to give children the best possible start on their lifelong learning journey and be involved with your family for as long as possible. The School recently celebrated it’s centenary – 100 years of providing education for the children of Stockbridge and the surrounding villages. We are at the beginning of our journey into the next centenary for Stockbridge school and the website gives a flavour of what we are getting up to.
