WWL presents Mardi Gras Parade Tracker. We are New Orleans' premier Mardi Gras parade tracking service. We cover more parades in more areas of the city than any other app available on the market.
How do we do it? The short answer is: brute force. We deploy an army of dedicated, warm-blooded (and sober) human beings with GPS devices to walk the entire parade route of every parade we track. We physically track 67 of the biggest parades during Mardi Gras starting with Krewe De Vieux and ending with Rex on Mardi Gras day. Whether you are Uptown or in the French Quarter, in Metairie or on the West Bank, Chalmette, Houma, Thibodaux, or Covington, you can count on us to provide the exact location of the parade you want to see.

Great app but they need to put the tracker at the very front of the parade. Also if you could set notifications for when the parade is a block from your current location or a location of your choice would be a nice feature!

Worked well to find out parade schedule a couple hours prior. Crashed incessantly while actual parade was on, thereby defeating the entire stated purpose of live parade tracking. This happened both at home on WiFi as well as at site on mobile data. Checked several times over course of event, always a crash as soon as any given parade was selected. A surge in network traffic might be related but should be predictable and obvious given nature of use.

If youre going to try to be a helpful app... List all of the parades even if you are not tracking them. I was using this app until i realized that you were missing parades on it. Not sure why yall are THAT LAZY. Fix it and get better rating.

I've used this every year since it came out a few years ago. But, it has become very cluttered with parades and locations - Houma, Mandeville, Thibodeaux, Covington and Slidell. A simple fix... Allow the user to set their favorite location.
