About Nighttime Speaking Clock
This is the most convenient application to check the time without having to open your eyes.
It is recommended for people who have trouble sleeping.
It is simple to use:
1. Open the app and place your phone face up next to you, for example on your bedside table. You can black your screen out.
2. Whenever you feel the need just hover your hand over your phone and it will automatically announce the current time.
Our app will consume very little battery power.
Application supports 16 languages:

Talking clock will not interrupt your sleeping patterns as it runs on a blacked out screen and will only announce the time when you hold your hand above the handset.

...and can't see the display without them. Very helpful when you wake up and can't find your glasses in the dark and need to know the time. Also, the logo/icon for this app is too cute :)

Does what it says in the tin, mostly. 2 problems: 1) it's a bit battery heavy, though it could be worse 2) at eg 00.34 it just says '34' instead of 'twelve 34'. Otherwise pretty good.

Worked fine for a little while then just stopped. Reinstalling didn't make any difference. Reluctantly uninstalling. Shame, as it was exactly what I needed.

Just what I needed to get the time at night without opening my eyes! An additional feature that I would love (pay) to see: Alarm feature that announces the time every minute (or programmable interval) until canceled! I'm a light sleeper and that would be a great, gentle way to wake up! :-)

Aplikacja pozwala sprawdzić godzinę, nie otwierając oczu! Wystarczy przesunąć rękę nad telefonem i już słyszymy godzinę. Działa nawet na wyciszonym telefonie! Good app. I'd like to see a shake phone for spoken time app even in lock screen mode. There's plenty who need glasses out there.

It worked great - for one night. Since I didn't want it talking all day long, I turned it off using the off button in the app the next morning. I turned it back on that night but instead of giving me the time when I waved my hand over the sensor, it mutes my phone's volume. What the heck is that about? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't help.
