New bug fixes broke watch function, instead of directly playing the stream it gives a choice "Watch on device" which does not work, it's a blank function. The only way to initiate the stream is by either directly entering the channel number or by hitting the channel number from guide. Very annoying.

WORST APP EVER. Always switches to SD mode and CONSTANTLY buffers, even on WiFi. Just went 10 minutes straight of spinning wheel buffering on WiFi. Dish service stinks. Upgraded to Hopper 3. Has so many bugs it should come with an exterminator.

I have the same exact complaint as others. Since most recent update the app only gives landscape mode where i always have to hold my phone with two hands. This is bad on multiple levels... I understand things brake and need fixed. Please just make this particular thing a higher priority. Using Galaxy S7 edge with android 7.0 software on at&t.

My watch list rarely shows up after all that work. Then some that r on watch list can't watch, have to update package. Then it shouldn't be able to be put on your watch list in 1st place!! Plus u have to reload the watch list just get it to work it seems like alot otherwise it always say can't load. Now it makes me resign in n won't accept my login! For which I didn't logout. Plus it shows that shows r seemingly available then claims not available for watchlist. That's like half the shows.

Doesn't work well with Galaxy S8 Plus. Remote control & channel selector do not function, I need to use the guide to find shows. Warning window every time app opens saying that screen resolution is wrong and app may not work. I have tried each display resolution and turned on &off full screen for the app. No change in warning. Does not display in portrait mode only landscape.

This would actually be pretty awesome and this I would have been pretty awesome if they didn't partner themselves with Frontier and try to charge a customer $400 a month for basic satellite and internet for two TVs as a bundle. This company needs to get their stiff together again

Unfortunately, since the last update this app is unusable for me. It won't go into portrait mode, which means the remote control function just doesn't work. Pretty bummed.

Latest version still has glitches like not being able to set recording with no explanation. Huge files in unconfigurable transfer function. 1 hour 27gb. Doesn't work with split screen which would be nice to listen or even watch show while responding to texts, or looking something up.

Overall works really well but has 2 fatak flaws. The first is that on my S8, the application is stuck in landscape mode and is extremely hard to navigate that way (I think it sees this phone as a tablet.) Second, is that sometimes upon launching it won't see my receiver and say it's offline so I can't access anything except live TV. The only way to fix it is to remove the receiver and re add it. But when it dis work, and isn't stuck in landscape mode (like in my old phone,) this app works great.

This started out good now it has gone down hill, half the time it doesn't work. "Update 5-25-2017" Down to one star now, I'm paying extra to get this service on my phone and tablet. It's no longer working so I'm going to cancel it. If the hopper system is suposed to be so hot you need to show me, because it pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned.

I see some bad reviews but honestly i have a cheaper phone and have had zero issues.. Seems to me some people have terrible WiFi but i have no issues while watching in 4g also.. Great app and service

What happened? It appears I am now using a web version now instead of a mobile version. I can't use portrait mode. I got rid of DirectTV because of their lousy technology. Dish isn't far behind with this lousy update. I notice the only review Dish replied to is a good review. Their "fix" for mine and other's complaint about landscape mode is, now they display a pop up telling me the device settings on my phone is not supported. What is that supposed to mean? How about actually fixing the app or give me a suggestion about what my settings need to be so it works correctly. Dish Network, you are better than this.... fix your technology or risk losing customers. I could save money using Hulu and Netflix only. Don't make me cancel my service like I dropped your competition because they wouldn't fix many people's technology complaints.

After installing app and logging on all you see is guide and your DVR contents. Can't display to your device without buying additional services and devices (sling box). Maybe time to give up on dish and move totally to internet content. 2015 update. Still a bogus app that exists to sell additional services. Dish does not realize how quickly their business model has been dispatched to the dust bin. 2017 update, still no remote tv, but an attempt to sell you a sling box....

I think it needs a little bit more fixes like it doesn't need wifi everywhere you go cause that would be annoying especially if you have children on a car or siblings and they want to watch a movie but they can't so yeah

When I don't have electricity because of good old kansas weather, I can always count on my dish anywhere app on my phone or kindle for news or TV shows or even cartoons to keep my kid from screaming. Hahahaha.

I just switch from DirecTV to dish I'm so upset, atleast on on DirecTV's app you can watch live TV without WiFi I really dont think I'll be with dish to long

The new big fix update ruined the app on the galaxy s7 the app only runs horizontally instead of vertically and the app is glitched out.

1. DVR PLAYBACK CONSTANTLY STOPPING BUFFERING.. I WATCH 2 SECONDS THEN IT STOPS..GOES FORWARD FEW SECONDS. IVE CHANGED IT TO SQ...STILL SAME ISSUE.

It would be great if I knew how to get to my rentals stored in my DVR. On this App I can't find them but on the actual at home devices there are many rentals stored. Why isn't it showing everything? Why isn't there any type of Help section?

Rebuffered one too many times!!! UNINSTALLING!!! Kicks you off, doesn't work with every wifi, login over and over again...the negatives are endless.

Keeps closing while watching transferred videos and won't go back to the same spot when resuming. Buffers and stutters alot while streaming even with a high speed connection on the hopper and high speed lte on phone. Please fix.

It didn't download an app to access it. I have to open through the playstore Every time, and that's the easy way.

I love it. I can lay down and watch Tv at nite. My oldest likes using it if I'm watching Tv. So glad I downloaded the app! Love it!!!
