This app works just fine no crashing at all. Do not listen to all the bad review .works on my hap s1 perfectly I have heard this app only works on android set top boxes and high end tablets not on phones.

Doesn't connect to my Sony HAP Z1ES player no matter what. Shame on on Sony to have such a poor remote for such a potentially great piece of equipment

I was having serious problems connecting on Android 7 for the past month but those issues seem to have pretty much disappeared in the past few days. Perhaps some kind of Play Services update fixed it recently? Works good again on my Pixel C, Pixel XL (only one day old), Nexus 6 & Nexus 4.

The app crashes a lot on my device. LG V20. My phone is rock solid and runs the newest version of Android. For whatever reason this app constantly crashes. When it works it works well but I'm getting tired of how inconsistent it is.

V70%
by V####:

Nice interface but still limits you to only 100 playlists, which is not enough for something that allows as many as 20,000 tracks. It should allow for at least 500 playlists. App will get 5 stars once that limit is increased.

The electronic identification of your music is very limited and is further restrained by Sony updates! At least give us the ability to in put the music information. I've had problems over and over from the rejection of the use of music identification. THIS IS AN ABSURDITY! BUYER BE FORE WARNED!

S70%

Forcing users to upgrade to a new version is just rude. Its also arrogant, thoughtless, and obnoxious. Have you any idea how frustrating it is to not be able to use it because I am not able to install the update???

W70%

First bug the 'get music info'. Second bug tunein favorite stations. When you select from the first station to listen the second one from above on the second station the cover that shows is from the first. Problems with the gracenote probably.

Sony should be ashamed of themselves for putting out an app for a $2k music server that is not compatible with one of the most common phones out there. While it works, there isn't enough space on the screen to see anything but the 1st letter or two of the artist or album you are search for. Also, the app will not display with the screen held vertically, only horizontally, so it doesn't look anything like the screen shots shown here on my S3. The weakest point of an otherwise good product. Apparently it thinks my phone is a tablet and will not display correctly.

Purchased the unit and then purchased the Samsung Galaxy note 10.1. Flawless operation that becomes the lifeblood of the system I had custom play lists on my Itunes and Ipod and was worried i would lose these. Not so, in fact, the app offers further customization on the Galaxy. excellent integration.

I'm using this with the Sony TA-A1ES amp and HAP-Z1ES Hi-Res player along with B&W CDM9 speakers and it ismthe best sound I've ever had in my home. This combo even outperforms my old Krell amp. Even better is how easy it has become to access my music. It doesn't matter where I got my music or the resolution, it just works perfect. Now I finally have an easy way to play my DSD files and I can retire my SACD player.
