About Sophos Secure Workspace
Sophos Secure Workspace is the place where you can access your company’s documents or corporate websites. All data is stored with AES-256 encryption, matching military grade requirements. Sophos Secure Workspace is designed to prevent data loss if your device gets stolen or lost.
Sophos Secure Workspace can be managed by Sophos Mobile, an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution. Sophos Secure Workspace runs inside the Sophos container and the Sophos Mobile administrator can enforce corporate security settings.
Sophos Secure Workspace is fully compatible with Sophos SafeGuard Enterprise (SGN). Sophos Mobile integration ensures that users can access SGN encrypted files and access full disk recovery keys from their mobile devices.

The passphrase gets confirmed even without confirming . If encryption key is used still able to delete with out warning , also not asking for passphrase when decrypting

Recently installed and seems to work, but early days yet time will tell. However, first problem encountered is that the app is unable to access the external SD card on a mobile running Android 6.

I have some encrypted files with the key stored in the app. One of them is an image. Then, when I used a file manager and requested this app to view the image, it opened the image and requested for the app password. I just hit cancel and the image, which was already opened in the back, showed completely. I don't think this was supposed to happen. I think the files should only be opened upon confirmation of the password. Please contact me for further information, if necessary.

If you want a basic as it gets file manager that's light and fast, this will work for you. The encryption is a nice bonus, as well as the solid cloud support. It is clearly, though, a work in progress. It's not bad, but it's not something I would distribute to all end users yet. Needs a way to decrypt permanently, and update media store as files change. Otherwise, I'm excited about this replacing 4 other apps for me. It's going to be great when it's as mature as the rest of the Sophos collection.

Needs a lot of work. Kind of pointless if on an Android device, it can Encrypt a File yet is unable to Decrypt it (eg a Keepass File), one has to go to PC to Decrypt which is very strange indeed! ALSO. From cloud, it has to take a copy of the file and decrypt and can't do it on the fly. ALSO no way of knowing what files are encrypted. Manual is also terrible. Requires too much thought and more a dangerous app (not know what is encrypted) than useful, Will revisit in 6 months. Lots of work needed.

Not what I expected from Sophos. Unintuitive user interface. Does not seem to download from cloud to local storage (wants to open every time, even if there is no app). Does not do seamless encryption when storing to the cloud. It seems you have to encrypt locally then upload. Cannot see the point of this app.

Possibly the longest and most unintelligible EULA in Play Store. I am used to reading this stuff but this defeated me. Could not accept a contract that appears to contain obligations to pay unspecified amounts under unclear circumstances. I'm sure it's innocuous but your lawyer needs shaking by the neck. Gave up & uninstalled.

I like the app, as it gives me access to my encrypted files stored in the cloud. Usability is similar to most cloud storage vendors, so no hassle. And I can take files offline, which is a big benefit, if I read my docs in the airplane.

I had hoped that this was an app that would read files encrypted on the desktop and stored on Dropbox - and so would be pretty neat. However, after trying for several hours, it now seems apparent that it doesn't work with any files that are encrypted with their free desktop software - only the "paid for" systems. So advertising this as a "free" app seems a bit dubious - it appears to me that they are just using Google Play as a way of distributing software to their corporate customers.
