Tap - Chat Stories by Wattpad

I love it. It's unique and fun and very entertaining. I definitely love reading the stories on this app and it's a good, quick read when you don't have the time to read a whole book. The only thing I could fault is the fact that I can't make my own taps. I'm having to redownload it again and am hoping I can make my own taps. But other than that, no faults :)

I'm loving this. The only thing I DON'T like it that you have a limited number of taps in a time frame like how some music apps only give you a certain number of skips per hour. Other than that I think this is a really cool style and I'm eager to try it out with my writing. Makes horror stories really intense!

This app lacks the heart of what makes Wattpad beautiful. There's no community element, and everythinug feels like a barren wasteland with no soul. The lack of a search button, impossibility of finding underrated authors to read from, and the fees for reading take away from everything loveable from the main app.

I think this is a great app and all but it really needs a search bar and having to pay to read stories just takes the fun out of it and gets extremely annoying but overall I think this was a great idea, it just needs some improvements. (Ps: it would be really cool if you could link this app with wattpad and you could add a "tap" chat in the middle of a wattpad story to make it more interesting and interactive)

I love it I read so of the reviews and most of them were bad, but I like this app. Maybe more categories and yes a search bar would be helpful but other than that, it's great. I'm looking forward to the next update, keep up the good work!

What happened here? I mean, Wattpad is the best for me. I read most of the time there but what happened here? I need to pay to just read? A few taps and I have to pay to read right away? It's kind of unfair. I hated how this app had been created. I can't even write. I can't appreciate the whole idea of the app and it sucks.

dear wattpad, please provide us search bar since i need to scroll down which make me tired, bored, frustrated untill i lost my patience and interest to read. i cant scroll down until i find what i want to read every single time i want to read something new. it make me frustrating and annoying with the app. thank you.

Search bar, tags, and messaging (comments + DM ) would make this better. Also, buying taps and waiting instead of continuing the story that they make for free? Isn't the best idea. Besides that it's a really good app concept.

Well, this is a great concept and I love that you added the feature to create taps. I do not like, however, that I have to pay to use this app. If Wattpad were to go to subscription I'd cry myself to sleep. Either way, I wish this wasn't a membership app, or that I could get like 100 taps for a 30 second ad or 1000 for a one minute ad, etc. It's great, but I don't have he money for it to be perfect.

I do really like this app, but I wish you could follow people like on wattpad. Me and my girlfriend write stories but it's very difficult to find each others accounts. If you fix this I will rate 5 stars!!

I think it's really lame that you have to pay for a membership to get unlimited taps. I wish that this had the same kind of community features as Wattpad as well. The stories are awesome and the concept is great, but I want more features and I don't want to have to pay.

I really liked the idea, but the pay to read and the fact that you can't search ruined it. You can tag a work as fanfic, but there's no way to read other people's fanfics because it's not even a category you can filter by. On the hole it's a beautiful app, it's just useless.

Finally I can write my own story! Happy me. But, I'm a bit dissapointed to know that there is no discover/search button. Please make it have a discover/search button so I can find the stories from its title, not only from category.

No search buttons? Limited categories? How can people discover our stories? No follow buttons? No notifications for authors? Can this app be like Wattpad? I know you're just starting. It needs improvements. Too limited... I'm happy because I could write stories with dialogues only. I'm having hard time writing PoV's of my characters. But... it's too frustrating. Writing is too limited. No comments or reactions... too limited... :(((( Please... from the creators of Wattpad... please... improve this app. I know it will be a success once you fix this issues. It will also be a great app just like Wattpad. I know you can fix this.

Well, Wattpad. You meant well. You had an excellent idea, but ruined it with the addition of fees in order to use the app's main function. I don't know what's worse, limited taps or no search feature of ANY kind.

This app seems like some sort of under developed plan to gain money. The app is boring, inconvenient, and you can't even read for five minutes before you either pay a ridiculous amount of money or wait for twenty five minutes. There isn't a search bar, you can't comment or rate any "taps", and you can't direct message authors. It's kind of a terrible app...

I like it, but it's texts. You don't get the details of a real wattpad book, you know? I would give it 3.5 but you can't so I rounded it up.

This app is great. It re-introduce the story telling thru chats/messaging. However, I don't know if I'm using this in the right way. I wish there is a search bar and instructions on how to navigate the app. Is there a way to add the stories in my lists?

I'm honestly really disappointed, on Wattpad you get to read the greatest books, search for stuff, everything is free with no "taps" or whatever that have to wait a day for. It lacks what truly makes wattpad, Wattpad. I don't like this app at all.

I agree with pokestruck11, we shouldn't have to have a category. I rather us choose the books. Plus have the app sycned with Wattpad that way we can just read the books we have in our libraries as well, instead of just going back and forth between Wattpad and tap.

The new update ruined the experience. To wait for 25 minutes before you can start reading again is really cruel of you...and charging 550 rupees per month is not at all economical. We can buy books with that money if needed.

People who are complaining about this app not being like Wattpad clearly aren't realizing its not supposed to be like Wattpad, and there's s good chance the developers are working on more. Its an amazing app and useful as an author.

Thank you for the update, Tap! (for making us able to write our own) But please, consider this, add a category wherein there are stories of us, users, not just stories of the staffs/company. Like Wattpad, add a What's New category, etc. Looking forward to that! Thank you, Tap Wattpad. Cheers to the new app!

This is exactly like hoot. You can only read for a little until it limits you for thirty minutes, the only way to read more is to pay. I absolutely love wattpad, but this disappointed me a lot.

It was ok but I like regular wattpad better. Not alot of variety, just a bunch of horror stories.

I like it. It's ok but If you could add a search bar and if you could make it so you don't have to wait for more taps. It would be better if you can just read through it all instead of having to wait. Thank you.

Doesn't have enough stories on the app. Can't discover any. Can't search for any. When you write a story, you can choose which genre it is, but half of those genres aren't even featured in the app. I really like it, but wish it had more

I kinda like it but what i dont like about this is that it doesnt have the search button and you need to wait for more taps or buy it, tbh i kinda like more wattpad than this

i think its a good idea but there needs to be a search button to find certain stories and authors. one of my favorite things about wattpad is finding people and making friends amd theres just no community on tap. also, paying to read? really? overall, its a great concept, but it needs some work.

I kinda dont understand this new app. I hope you will provide language preferences where I want to choose my own language stories instead of english. Thank you.

Needs search bar and that community feeling of wattpad along with not having to pay for more taps. Otherwise pretty good but if most if not all these things are added soon I will go back to strictly wattpad because you can do a similar thing with it and it is completely free and unlimited...

I really don't like this app. I live Wattpad because it lets you read as many stories as you please. But this is just a copy of Hooked. It makes you wait to read more and it's very agitating. That's why I deleted Hooked. Im disappointed that this app is the exact same thing as Hooked.

It's good but the app should allow us to search SPECIFIC stories instead of just giving us categories to scroll through until we find it

Finally I can write my own stories in chat but I want to write my chat stories even without internet just like wattpad we can write stories without intenet for the correction before publishing....

Where's the search button? My god, Wattpad, what happened to you? I'm so disappointed.

I like tap-chat stories by wattpad, but I think there should be.. well.. at least an important feature (and more) that tap- chat stories should have. Those features should be: "A search bar" (for finding users and stories that u can't find again) A follow button so that users don't have to find that specific profile again. And I personally don't find it fair that we have to pay for getting more taps. This is a new thing by you (wattpad developers), and I think everyone should have the ability to read stories for free! But that's just my opinion! I hope you busy people take your time and read our reviews!

Cant we read it offline? Sigh just like wattpad, i hope you also do this is a wonderful app jeebaaaal
