WDBJ7 Weather & Traffic

Used this app for years because it was so streamlined and the radar was great.Since the last update it is a garbled mess of adds and crashes all the time.Moving on to another weather app.The idiot that decided on this layout should be fired!

Formerly my "go to" weather app. Recent changes have turned it into a commercial with full page ads. These changes have driven me to Weather Underground's Storm and away from WDBJ7 TV weather, too. Total failure. So sad. I love Storm's format.

I love the layout of this app, but sadly, I recommend that everyone delete it. I have posted before about the intensive adds...Last night, as tornadoes were touching down in our area, we were forced to listen to full length commercials prior to getting critical info. This is not just a data issue. It is or life threatning when time counts. I will be deleting this app and using the NOAA app...As a weather spotter, I want people to have instant access to alerts.

App keeps randomly crashing. I've reported before. Sounds like others have as well. App also says you're still tracking Nate. Is someone asleep over there? Uninstalling and moving to another app since nothing is being fixed.

The app has been slow and laggy lately. The weather doesn't even load sometimes. Now it shows the old startup screen with snow, it's June.

It's much better. I don't like bright red flashing ads, the flashing bothers my eyes and makes it hard for me to focus on your app. Please, just give us the ad!

Now this app is good. If it doesn't crash like the other one I will give it 5 stars.

Used to be my favorite weather app. Now with all the ads at every new screen and unimportant videos pushed to the front, it practically useless. Also the radar map on the new one never centers to local, starts in Africa every time I open it. Never did that before.

Used to be my favorite weather app but not since the last update. Way to many ads and the ads are too large. Not even an option to get rid of them. Plus, I'm not a fan of the new format. I've hung on thinking it might change back but it hasn't so I'm uninstalling.

A great app before the last update. Too many ads, map does not automatically zoom into home area and again too many ads.

All the things I liked are gone, all things I don't like are glaring. Do something so I don't have to find another app.

Its a great use

This was the best go to weather app, after this last update though you must go through 5 ads before getting to what you want. Even after that if you click on the same page again back through the ads you go! Can't watch a video without the exact same 30 second ad video popping up everytime! Will Uninstall

Would have given 0 stars if it was an option. It was an awesome app before the recent update. Now it is full of annoying pop up adds, it crashes and hardly any if the functions work. It was unusable for me, so I am deleting and going with a new app.

My wife and I loved this app until it started popping ads up all the time. And now we got the update installed and it's terrible. Go back to the old version. You use to be the best weather app. If I could give zero stars I would. I don't mean to be harsh but you need this feedback.

I've had the app for three years and it was awesome. The recent update is horrible, over loaded with ads and system crashes. Goodbye greedy WDBJ7 with your Carlion ads, well Hello WSLS10!

The app now crashes when I try to check the daily forecast. The ads are annoying and the new interface is clunky. Please read the user comments and fix your app. It used to be great...

The App is useless now, something is always changing for no reason. The Ads are stupid and a pain in the A$$. I just downloaded WSLS and will be using it instead of this one. 1 star is still to good of a rating for this app at the present!!

What happened to the 10 day outlook? Alot of us who have to travel for work or appointments like to know what weather may be like more than a few days before. HATE the stupid ads. Use the app alot but considering finding a new weather app.

I work outdoors and used to reli on this app everday. No more! This used to be the best weather app. With the older version, the number of advertisements was bad enough. With this update there are 3 times as many and you can't access any page or information without seeing an ad or being forced to watch a 30 sec commercial. If I wanted that, I'd just watch TV. No other app has or needs this much advertising. Also, the old version had all the info you needed on one screen. NOT NOW! Come on Ch 7!

Your app used to be the greatest. Simple and loaded with everything you needed. Easy to navigate. Now it just plain sucks. It crashes all the time. Ads are beyond annoying. Fire whoever made this update and roll back to the better version. Until then I'm uninstalling and using WSET to get my weather from.

This app has been ruined by all the advertising. When you go to check the weather you have an advertisement before you can see the weather. Very disappointed in the app now. I will probably remove it. Sorry you made these changes

Worked like a charm with previous versions. Now its not as user friendly. Has gotten worse since I left a review in 2015. Ads no matter what you do. Now layout is also just bad. Why mess with a good thing? Will be using the WSLS app now

The previous update was perfect, I loved the 10 day forecast, now after the latest update, all I get is 4 days, and tons of page blocking ads! I've been a diehard WDBJ7 fan for years, but I think I'll have to delete this app & find a new weather source!

This was a great app until all the ads. Now you can't do anything without seeing a full page ad or watching a video. I used to able to use this with one hand, not anymore. Since the update I can't see more than 4 days out on the forecast, worthless. Uninstalling.

Previous version was perfect. This current version is useless. The very thing I need is at the bottom of the page. Will not contine to use this app as it is not user friendly nor intuitive anymore. Very disappointed. Also ads are unbearable.

Where did the 10 day out look go, stops working when try to open 4 day. App was great before update. Now it is getting un installed and looking elsewhere

I have used this app for a very long time and is fairly accurate for my location... But the full page adds have ruined it! Every selection i make has a add blocking it. Ive uninstalled the app and using another now.

I've used this app for a couple years & have always like it. The latest updates now have ads running when you do anything. I will find something else if ads continue.
