Email My Texts

I am going through major life changes. There is so much crucial information being exchanged through text, names, addresses, pictures, attachments. I LOVE being able to store my texts in my email. Its so EASY to use. Im excited for the day I write the story of my life and will be able to refer to exactly what was said.

Great app! I had a problem trying to use my Comcast email to send & receive the converted texts, but switched to sending from my Gmail account to my comcast account & it works perfectly. Comcast was insisting on passwords & encryption that couldn't be unencrypted. The problem was not with this app, it was comcast email protocols. If you have a problem there is a link in the app for support AND you will get a response. Outstanding!

It is so hard to find a specific message thread if you want it backed up that it's not even worth it. Very vexing. You can't actually go through your messages to find it and you can't enter any search criteria, just have to scroll through numbers, won't even show you contact names on the list.

Wasted time on those other apps. Easy to use! 3 years later this app is the most consistent. It does not send images sent thru text

Perfect! Thank you... GREAT app and an invaluable tool. worked perfectly and quickly with a 12304 message thread. Also used it to backup all my texts. Had them in my email inbox in less than 2 minutes. No problems and very easy to use. Great job on this app. How did i live without it

Easy to use and just plain works... In just 3 easy steps I had all my texts that I needed for court. No problem sending the email. Love it

IT DOES NOT WORK WITH AT&T!!! You cannot get your side of the conversation. Only the texts you received. Useless in my situation. Wasted $ will see if I actually get a refund!!!

Had to page down in the thread list to find my text senders in alphabetical order, but, once done, everything worked well. Would love to send pictures, but this is good for what it does. My favorite text emailing app just stopped working reliably, and it is good to have something that will work.

I have been looking for several months for way to download my text messages so that I could take them to court. Finally there's a way. They're not all cute and different colors like I see on the judge shows but they are all there and in chronological order. I will of course have my phone with me so if the judge wants to see that they are correct in the printouts the judge can look at my phone. But so much easier to find stuff and mark it ahead of time with the email attachment. Kudos to the designer!!

I needed to print 2 very long text message threads. This app is super simple, dumps everything into a .txt file, date & time stamps every message and indicates, very clearly, who said what & when. Took me longer to pay for the app than it did to download and print 160 pages of conversation! Life saving app!!!

Let's face it: paid apps have a pretty high barrier for entry. This app emails an entire text conversation to wherever you want it to go. It can also email every text you have sent: albeit in a single file and not is separate files, which is mind boggling. (point 1) in addition, you have to select a single thread based on the app interface's naming convention, which is murky at best. If you have multiple group chats, especially with similar participants, you may struggle to determine which is which.

I love it however, my phone died on me and i had not recently sent the files I needed. I lost all prior threads. I would like to see this app have an automatic setting to send a report at regular intervals, such as daily or weekly. Otherwise it works well.

Struggled with other apps, but this one sent all my texts to my email as a text file in seconds. I was then able to open and read the text file. Simple!

I did a couple hours searching for a text app. I was skeptical of possible bogus "5 star reviews" and was afraid to get something that was 'free' that was not fully functional unless you paid for the 'fully functional' version. I took a shot at this app. I was so surprised at the simplicity. The learning curve was about 60 seconds! The text I downloaded was in a .txt format and was emailed to my email account as an attachment. It worked so fast that I didn't realize it was finished.

This app is a lifesaver. You can save texts via email. It has helped me remember things from past texts without having to save them on my phone all the time.

I'm not sure why some people have rated this app badly...I had zero problems, and it actually worked much better and faster than I had expected. Great app, no problems. Using Note 4 phone.

This app is easy to use and prints in a clear format that clearly shows which text came from which phone number etc. This is very useful for court situations. I have paid good money in the past with other apps that were difficult to use and printed out in a format that was not clear enough. I was glad to fund this app and recommend it to everyone.

"Email My Texts" does its job perfectly. I tried a few other tools for this purpose but was dissatisfied with their interfaces or functionalities. This app does its job without a bunch of bells and whistles by providing a simple interface, clear features, and minimal "clicks." Within 5 minutes of installing I had selected a thread (which essentially means choosing a particular person or group you've communicated with), filtered the texts I wanted from that thread by a date range, sent them to my email address, and received them by email. In my case, my first run was 147 SMS messages but there is no limit. It also retrieved the text from "long messages" that my phone had converted to MMS. I'll add that for my purpose, I needed all of the texts to be sent in the body of one email message in the form of a transcript - as opposed to individual emails or an email with an attachment. However, the app makes it easy to accomplish either of the other two scenarios, too. I use Handcent for my messaging app, but this app doesn't care what you use. I don't usually pay for apps. I risked $5 for this one and couldn't be happier.

I Paid for this App to use the texts Received by my Landlord in Court. It did NOT WORK !!! It WON'T STOP BUFFERING !!! I went to Sleep woke up my phone was red HOTT and it was STILL "LOADING IN PROGRESS".... I Contacted you by Email the day after it was purchased and you Ignored me. Please REFUND MY MONEY. STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND !!! WILL BE CONTACTING T-MOBILE AS SCAM !!! TRACKS & COPIES ALL INFORMATION !!! BEWARE !!!

Instead of keeping hundreds of texts on your phone and tying up memory you simply choose which text you want to save and email it to yourself.

While there are similar apps available (most for free), this is by far the most flexible (and easiest to use). I work for a roommate's start-up, and a lot of important communication is sent via text; before finding "Email My Texts," I really had no good way to save (i.e., document) these exchanges. It's absolutely worth what I paid (just under $5).

Instead of listing group threads with then names or numbers of its members, this app labels them with a generic ID (insert address token #X). Thus, if you have several group threads, there isn't a way to figure out which is which. Thus makes the app partly useless.

After a few weeks of trying to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish your app provided a very simple solution. It was easy to use and easy to understand and it worked perfectly the first time. I had thousands of texts to transfer to email and it just took a few seconds. This for me is so worth the price I paid for it!

I'm still using this app for the purpose of saving text messages for my upcoming divorce/child custody. The app is very easy to use and is what I expected. However the customer service is really quick and helpful which is why I'm rating the program now.

Some settings have to be tweekedto make sure you get what you want, but it works like a charm to email text conversations. My attorney will be happy.

Just what I and many others need...a txt print app that sorts the output from oldest to newest. I emailed a question that answered w/in an hr. Don't expect that all the time but author answered. I don't want to ask the judge in my case to read back to front...it's annoying. This app fixes that.
