Doc Scanner is a free application from Zoho that lets you take a photo of a document and converts the file into PDF format.

The app is provided with an in-app purchase of Document Scanning Engine, which lets you take a photo of a document and extract the content as editable text and lets you save it to Zoho Docs in docx format. The scanned image can also be saved to Zoho Docs or Google Drive as an image as well as a PDF document.
The app can extract data from documents in multiple languages. This includes English, Chinese, French, Dutch, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

This app is horrible, I tried to scan my documents into the app, it couldn't do that correctly, it was really a waste of money and time, don't ask people to pay for something that is totally useless, then refuse to pay them back by not having the option of a refund button. I had buy another app that was truly amazing

It's about 75% accurate. You still need to edit the text after converting it to a document

After taking each image there is no option to crop, why should I click the plus button each time, have done batch mode to scan many pages of a document into one pdf

takes only a picture, just like normal camera does. And then it is impossible to find that picture in storage. Avoid.

Installed the app and purchased the document scanning engine. The app opens and takes a picture and that is it. It doesn't show the picture. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and still no luck. Can't get my money refunded either as their is no option for it in the app purchase.
