Crazy 98.3 FM - Uruguay

Esta Radio Comunitaria, se gestó como preocupación e iniciativa de un grupo de vecinos, integrantes de las Coop. de Viviendas; COVIECUADOR y COVIDE, ubicadas en la ladera del Cerro de Montevideo y linderas al Parque Vaz Ferreira. Decimos que como preocupación, porque se sentía la ausencia de un medio de comunicación tan importante para la zona como es una radio-emisora-comunitaria y decimos que como iniciativa, porque todas las ideas que surgen de los trabajadores, necesitan de esa iniciativa a “pulmón” y casi siempre sin recursos económicos y aportando lo que cada uno tiene para lograr sus objetivos.

Desde aquél entonces, cuando craneábamos las características de éste medio, pensábamos que la radio, por su propio origen, debía tener un objetivo que fuera el “faro” hasta el presente, basándose en los principios del Cooperativismo (ya que fuimos tomados bajo la tutela de la Personería Jurídica de la Coop. de Viviendas COVIECUADOR, afiliada a FUCVAM), como ser; la solidaridad, la autogestión, una base de fuerte origen social, el ser abiertos a diferentes propuestas y buscando la diversidad en el más amplio sentido de la palabra.


Con el aporte de todos, se logró colgar en el “éter” la primera transmisión experimental, un 24 de agosto del 2008, donde se ubicó como frecuencia libre la 96,7 FM. Se comenzó con mucha expectativa, transmitiendo sólo música y como en todos los inicios, siempre hay que corregir cosas, ésta frecuencia interfería en la recepción de señales en las T.V. de los vecinos y no se quería molestar a nadie, sino que la Emisora fuera parte del barrio y no una molestia. Luego de 2 meses de búsqueda de otra frecuencia, se ubicó la 98.3 de F.M., como frecuencia que hoy utilizamos. Tras mucho tiempo de experimentación, mejorando equipos, fidelidad y calidad de emisión (ya que el nombre que nos identifica como “CRAZY F.M.", para nada significa aventurarnos en ideas locas e irresponsables, sino la de brindarle a la gente lo mejor que logremos dentro de nuestras posibilidades). Tal es así que recién el 25 de abril del 2009, se emitió al aire el primer Programa de la Radio: “Salsa solo salsa”. Pero lo que sí nos caracteriza como “locos” debe ser la idea “quijotezca” que tenemos de plasmar utopías que con esfuerzo se pueden hacer realidad.Y al dia de hoy seguimos creciendo dia a dia x y para ustedes!!!! SOMOS COMO VOS!!!!!! This Community Radio, was conceived as a concern and initiative of a group of neighbors, members of the Coop. Housing; COVIECUADOR and COVIDE, located on the slopes of Cerro de Montevideo and bordering the Park Vaz Ferreira.
