Early Learning GPS

Want to help your baby, toddler or preschooler get ready for kindergarten? Start with the Early Learning GPS. Answer questions for video tips that can have a big impact on your child’s growth and learning. Save favorite tips and activities; keep a scrapbook of your child’s growth; and get help choosing child care. Developed with Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning.

It’s pretty simple. Register for free to create a personal map for each child.

Answer up to 10 questions about your child. After each question, watch a simple video tip and check out links to reliable resources like Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning. You can save the tips and resources to your child’s map for later.

You can also
• Follow your child’s development on the milestones tab and check off when your child meets a milestone.
• Save activities based on Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Standards that can help your child build language, math, social skills and more!
• Compare child care/ early learning programs to find the right fit for your family.
• Search and save local resources, like libraries, parenting classes, and health services.

Come back as often as you like to your child’s map to review your tips, resources, to-dos and even save photos!

Families can share one account and save notes, tips and resources together. This is a great way to share important information about your child with your child’s teacher or doctor as well. You can also sign up for monthly newsletters and weekly push notifications about book giveaways and other free resources.
