صحيح البخارى هو أصح كتب الحديث النبوي عند أهل السنة والجماعة. جمعه أبو عبد الله محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري وأسماه "الجامع المسند الصحيح المختصر من أُمور رسول الله Mohamed peace be upon him.svg وسننه وأيامه". هو أول مصنف في الحديث الصحيح المجرد المنسوب إلى محمد بن عبد الله رسول الديانة الإسلامية، وجاء مبوباً على الموضوعات الفقهية. وجملة أحاديث كتابه: سبعة آلاف ومئتان وخمسة وسبعون حديثاً بالمكرر، ومن غير المكرر أربعة آلاف حديث منسوب لمحمد. وقد نقل النووي إجماع الأمة على صحة الكتاب هذا ووجوب العمل بأحاديثه حيث قال
«أجمعت الأمة على صحة هذين الكتابين ووجوب العمل بأحاديثهما» – يحيى بن شرف النووي
