Questo piccolo borgo medioevale, alto e austero in posizione panoramica, è perfettamente conservato e rimasto immutato nei secoli. Montone è uno dei castelli del sistema difensivo di età feudale edificato su un poggio tra due affluenti dello stesso Tevere, il Carpina e il Lana. Vicoli tortuosi ed ombreggiati si snodano nel centro storico alternandosi alle ampie scalinate.

Montone, a small village authentic
This small medieval village, tall and austere in a panoramic position, is perfectly preserved and remained unchanged for centuries. Ram is one of the castles of the defensive system of feudal age built on a hill between two tributaries of the same Tiber, the Carpina and Lana. Massive walls surrounding the ancient Aries of historic houses, beautiful churches, imposing bell towers and convents.
