저희 교회는 1905년'을사보호조약'으로 나라를 잃고 방황하던 때에, 백성의 눈물으 닦아주시려는 하나님의 섭리를
따라 개척되었습니다.
이후, 1919년에는 대구, 포항 지역의 삼일운동에 주도적 역할을 하였을 뿐 아니라, 한국동란 때는 피난민들의 안식처로 사용되었고, 이 지역에 15개에 이르는 교회를 개척하며 왕성한 복음사역을 감당하여, 지역의 로 일컬어져 왔습니다.
