Nest Finder provides comprehensive information about all published DOC huts, camp sites and visitor centres, as well as i-SITEs, BBH hostels, YHA hostels, Holiday Parks of NZ and Forest and Bird lodges across New Zealand.

Save any of the files below to the Nest Finder folder (/mnt/sdcard/.nz.nestfinder/). If you have changed the folder in Nest Finder's preferences, please copy the archive into that folder.

I have installed this App on my Android, and have found it an excellent one. Previously had another NZ App for locating camping grounds etc. which would be suitable for a mobile home but it didn't quite make the grade. Had a wee spot of bother with this one until I contacted Oliver, who gracefully put me on the right track. I endorse this product and will recommend it to fellow motor-home users. Works really well. Had a small issue getting downloaded OSM tiles to work but developer was very responsive and sorted me out quickly. Great app and good service. Nexus 4 on lollipop.

upd / respond: there is a Waiheke Island DOC camping missing as well as Whatipu Lodge (north head of Manukau Harbour). There were more, but I cannot recall now... Some campfees are a bit outdated, such as for Brett Rd campsite (close to lake Rerewhakaaitu) now it's 8 not 6. However thanks for the effort! Cheers

On the river for 3 day's and could check where I was on the topo map with the gps with all the etras turned off and used 15 % of my power but had a phone if needed. Sweet

I was looking for an easy way to search for DOC camps and huts. I also wanted to see them on a map and read basic info about them. The DOC website is quite difficult to use for searching but this app does it well. I found the developer friendly to deal with too and he responded quickly to an issue I discovered. Great app. Thanks.
