FamilySearch Tree

Absolutely obsessed with this app! The Expandable Pedigree Chart is priceless! I'm a visual type person and being able to view my family tree in ascending order helps tremendously! If anyone has an interest in Genealogy, or researching their family history, I would highly recommend this app! It should be very simple for beginners as well! Thanks for creating this wonderful app! Btw, who should I send a bill to in order to compensate me for a chiropractor session? lol Just kidding!

Won't load my ancestors and family tree even though I have tried multiple times. Can't use it at all

Would be 5 stars but doesn't allow for same sex marriage and resulting adopted children. Agree or not these are legal relationships that deserve access. Not to mention this is discriminatory. Fix it.

This is a great app, and a great companion to the full-size desktop browser website. I thought it had an issue with the tree (pedigree) not staying up-to- date with changes, but it turns out that this can be refreshed by going into settings and selecting "download pedigree". (It has a delayed download that will eventually happen if you don't force an immediate one.)

Great app but the one thing I'd like to see changed is the size of the History List. I can easily lose over 50 relatives as I keep searching/finding at a given time

Customer service non existent. Wouldn't update to 4.3, told Ancestry, no reply or help offered. Eventually worked it out myself by completely uninstalling and then install 4.3 and it now works. Thanks developers for nothing!

Cumbersome and annoying account name and password restrictions. I'm not going to create and remember all new passwords and account names for a dumb family tree thing.

I'm having issues with adding photos. I spent hours adding photos on the app today, but when I look at the same people on my laptop, the pictures aren't showing up as if I never added them. Is it just a syncing issue? How do I get the photos I added on the app to the main version of the website on my computer? I don't want to have to add them all over again. Thanks!

Me and my cousin added family trees and we can't link them. Then what is the use of this app..? I don't know many of ancestors or other family members. If I can't link trees with person ids and how could it be useful to me. To store details I already know?

is app is just great. Especially how it linked with am my family member's accounts, making it easier to fill out my own tree. I think everyone should have this app. Let's do family history together :-)

I can't get past sign in and that is after verifying I had the correct username and password online.

Logged into my LDS account & it recognizes myself & my parents but thr rest of my tree is missing...all 3k+ of them

When I read about this app on the Deseret News site I was excited to try out the Relatives Near Me feature, but after installing it I was disappointed to find that its usefulness is limited to persons within 100 feet of me who also have the app open to the page. I can understand the reasons for the limitations what with privacy concerns, etc. Perhaps it is aimed at a different demographic than mine. Also disappointing was the Map My Relatives feature. I was annoyed, but not surprised, to see a picture of my mother in western Africa, a place that she has never visited lived or worked and is not buried. I was not surprised because several years ago I reported a bug to Family Search about it not getting the correct coordinates for her grave from Find-a-Grave, even though Find-a-Grave has the correct coordinates. I was annoyed that the bug is still there after I thought I had convinced Family Search that I was in no position to take the error up with Find-a-Grave and they had the information to be able to resolve the situation.

My tree view shows just me and my parents, no one else. All my ancestors are in my tree; I can see them in lists, etc. They just don't appear in the tree. Its only great feature is Ancestors With Tasks, but that takes two days to update and let you see more than a handful. This app needs lots of work.

One of the best family tree apps. But you NEED to add option to search your family members inside your tree. More search is global and I can not find someone just from my tree.

Display of tree is so small it is impossible to see. VERY LIMITED FEATURES.
