This used to be my favorite rss widget for the extensive customization options, but now it crashes EVERY TEN SECONDS, literally. What happened? Would love to go back.

Every time it updates you have to recreate your widgets

Even after Google decided to take down their own reader services I still am able to count on this app/widget. For all those who complain about not being able to log in with their Google account: scroll down more and look for the Feedly login. To owner: get rid of logging in with Google or put Feedly closer to the top on the services choice selection page in the setup. This will alleviate confusion.

Been using it 6-7 years and has always been my favorite app/widget. Can't comprehend how RSS never caught on with the masses. I hope it never stops working!

This app is abandoned and one of the ugliest I've seen! It still looks like Android 4.4!!! Need a SERIOUS revamp design wise and more options such as adding a URL directly

Love it since I first installed on original vibrant many years ago.

I was using Press which is has readability built-in but I prefer Pure cause it offers more. Better supported also.

Widget is stable and useful. Dev provides awesome support!

Been using it for 2 years. From Jellybean on Galaxy S3 to Lollipop on S5, it still works great. Maybe add a Google Now skin.

Very choppy (not smooth)scrolling on Android 5.1.1 on my Note 5!

I emailed the developer and got an immediate response with instructions on getting Pure News working with Feedly. I didn't notice I could scroll down the settings screen to see the options for Feedly on the list. (Doh!) Works like a charm now! Best news widget on Android.

I needed a replacement for Taptu, and I've finally found it with Pure News. This is combination with Feedly satisfies my need to stay abreast of daily news. Themes are a definite plus as well. It's absolutely perfect for me.

Google reader had been terminated. It's gone so are our feeds. It's not the apps fault. It's a great app and in sure they'll update a change it to work with something else.

Now when Google reader is closed its note working....

Wish there was a refund option. Simply does not work.

Something happened.. feeds are not being loaded. I see empty widget :(

It doesn't up date I have a Samsung gs4 rom 4.2.2 and it not update please fix this than you

Liking the widget so far

Had issue with Widget. Developer immediately helped me out, and we got it up and running. Widget looks great and does exactly what you need it to do. Best news widget that I've seen. Besides the clock, it is the most used widget on my phone.

DUDE! This is the best RSS widget. Period. Now WTF are we gonna do since Google is killing Reader in July?!? Francois, I'm sure there is another RSS service that can be made to work? I'm a fan of your development, and hope I can continue to use Pure News Widget to keep up to date on my feeds...

My news widgets no longer update on my Samsung Galaxy 4 Note with the Aviate Launcher. I've had the phone for about 2 months, everything worked fine until about a week ago. At that time the widgets stopped updating, even if the manual refresh icon was pressed. I removed the widgets (I use 3 of them, one for Headlines, one for Sci/Tech and one for Entertainment) and added them back, configured them all again and they worked...for about 3 days. Now they've stopped updating again, again even if I press the manual refresh icon. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Aviate Launcher Pure News Widget with Feedly I'd have rated this 4 stars prior to the update issue (there are some UI issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars, and I'm a UI guy by trade), but since it doesn't update now, it's essentially useless to me and I've given it 1 star. I figure I'll give the developer a couple days to address the issue. If he does, I'll happily go back to 4 stars as it's a good widget/app! If he's unable I'll look for another option.

Since the last update this widget has trouble refreshing. It worked flawlessly before it.

I don't know what some people are talking about, this widget is working great on my Nexus 5, this widget news is by far the best, works great with Link Bubble
