Catholic Study Bible App

This is a very reliable translation and comes highly recommended. I use it a lot, and when in doubt I can count on it to tell me exactly what the scripture says. The notes and commentary are also very helpful. I have bought a few of the talks which were very appropriate at the time. I really appreciate this app.

It is not a complete Bible The Bible must be purchased. If I knew that I would've purchased one in the first place. You are very misleading. There's a reconciliation both waiting for you.

Not really subscription one time purchases of different lectures and the greatest thing of all, the dramatized Catholic version of the New Testament which has changed my life tremendously for the better.

If you're looking for a very good commentaries, this could be it. Plus some free talks of great former Protestant pastors... You'll love it...

Great app for prayer and contemplation

Cannot open bible. When I try total open Bible it immediately goes to daily prayers. When I try to search it is worthless. Cannot even locate Genesis.

It's worth having on my cell. It not only helps me but two little kids too. They listen to the Word of God before to to bed & thus are well familiar to the Gospel acc. to John. Praise be to God for this app.

Although I like it,It load too slow and glitches everytime.

I like how the content is set up. It's very simple to find the book, chapter and verse that you are looking for. However, I have 2 complaints. #1 The load time for logging in is tremendously slow. #2 The title says it is a STUDY bible but i have yet to see any informing footnotes or anything similar. If you can fix It'd be my pleasure to give 5 stars.

After installing latest update on 29 April, app loads splash page and just sits there saying it is "Loading". It never loads.

I love the dramatized audio Bible in sync with the text. Commentaries are very scholarly and orthodox. Indexes are very helpful in finding specific topics and Catholic doctrines. Searching of keywords and jumping to other verses are fast. Sometimes the app freezes when you open it and syncs, but it will eventually respond after few seconds.

WOW! Outstanding Customer Service! I had a problem creating my account for this app and emailed them about it: within an hour I received a personal email with the solution and the app is working beautifully. Because I'm severely visually impaired I really enjoy the excellent dramatised audio New Testament. Wonderful!

I enjoy this app so much that I removed other apps to put this back on my phone. I needed the daily readings and the listening materials are such a blessing!

Latest update means it doesn't start at all; instead it crashes the phone. Once you finally get into one book, it seems to be impossible to get to another. Tapping the hook name at the top of the screen is supposed to get to the whole list of books in the Bible but doesn't. There's a lot of good content and commentary, but it's pointless when you can't actually read the Sacred Scripture

This app has such great potential. Sadly it's currently lacking due to frequent crashes and freezes. Also, an incredible design flaw makes it shockingly easy to delete all your downloaded audio with a single mistaken touch. In place of the "DOWNLOAD AUDIO" link there is a "DELETE AUDIO" link with the same size letters. If you inadvertently touch this text the app immediately wipes out all your downloaded audio (~1GB in my case) without so much as asking for confirmation. This is a serious flaw that should be fixed as soon as possible. Otherwise, when it works it generally functions well and I've gotten many hours of use out of it while traveling. Please devs fix the crashes and the instant audio wipe!

At search could combine such words as cup & chalice & maybe note the difference. Not able to boot up at times causeing need to reinstall. Then reinstall Bible audio & talks. Loose notes & BOOKMARKS. Frustrating. Wish it could remain in SD.

Crashes every time I click on a verse. Defeats purpose of app. I wish I'd bought the Ignatius Bible on Kindle instead.

This is amazing! Exactly what I've been looking for. I'm having a very hard time putting this down! I love the audio function for the New Testament; totally worth the price. *Please* do a similar audio function for the Old Testament? I sincerely hope and pray that this is already in the works! This app is such a blessing and thus far has cost me nothing. You can rest assured the dramatized audio version follows word for word with the text. You miss nothing if you choose to listen, which is why I downloaded the app. A lovely visual presentation and the audio quality is superb. Although the audio is dramatized it is not overtly dramatic - it will not distract you from the Word.

I had this app for a long time then all of a sudden, it and two others disappeared from my gs3. So I keep trying to install it again. It shows it is installed but doesn't show in my list of apps, still. I tried opening it and got an error too... Anybody help?
