Conference4me is an application that facilitates participation in the conferences and exhibitions.
This application provides following features:
* Access to up to date agenda (workshops, tracks, sessions, speeches, speakers, posters, )
* Easy access to conference’s key information (venue, accommodation, sponsors etc.)

Permissions
- It needs full network access to download and update the conferences, news etc.
- It needs to add or modify calendar events in order to add B2Match meetings to user calendar, but only in case if user wants to
- It needs to read confidential information to allow user choose the calendar, where B2Match meetings will be added
- It needs hardware control in order to scan QR codes and barcodes

I am organizing a large conference and as much as I like the idea of the app it took me a number of working days to get all material in the format that is needed to the developers. Good idea but it needs more work from the compatibility side - they could even raise the prices a bit and do more of the work themselves. Plus the interface need people to like the retro look...

Rating seems to be restricted to a public rating or survey for the conf organizers. I need to rate a paper and store the information locally for my own usage. At least the function does not appear for my conference.

I found this pretty easy to use. Loading in my conference was just a couple clicks. The interface isn't cluttered with a bunch of crap I don't want to see. I guess it could have more features but I like it being simple

This application more than suited our needs for a large conference, which was comprised of several parallel tracks and many listings. The developers were very responsive to questions and suggestions for improvement, implementing almost all of our suggestions that would apply to generic conferences, and adding new features that were very useful. Initially, our users had a few comments and were sometimes confused by the interface, but these aspects have been improved greatly as well, and I don't think a single user came away from using the application with a negative impression. The permissions required for installation are now the bare minimum as well. If you have a conference in CERN's Indico instance, you should get in touch with the developers to sync your agenda and give this app a try.

It's stable and it does the job, but its interface is pretty poor (and does not conform to the Android Design Guidelines). I had some difficulty using it at CHEP 2012. Could use a UI redesign/rethink.
