S.P.Q.Run è un Endless Running Game Action che pone il giocatore nei panni di un aitante gladiatore romano alle prese con la sua corsa giornaliera. Nel suo percorso, il legionario dovrà fare i conti con tutti i problemi della vita moderna nella città eterna: buche, traffico, pozzanghere e lavori in corso saranno gli ostacoli che andranno fronteggiati con destrezza ed astuzia.
Sullo sfondo troviamo Roma, splendidamente realizzata in pixelart: gli sviluppatori hanno speso molto tempo nel riprodurre pixel per pixel i monumenti storici della città, offrendo al pubblico il più realistico tour della città che si sia mai visto in un mobile game.

Il gioco si pone un obbiettivo che va oltre lo schermo: periodicamente verranno stanziati fondi economici che permetteranno ai giocatori, tramite eventi selezionati, di riparare eventuali disagi stradali nel loro quartiere o far progredire la loro zona, ricevendo una targa speciale marcata S.P.Q.Run.
